Guild Wars 2

Getting back into GW2 with flashpoint coming soon and im enjoying my time, but i always get more enjoyment when im just sitting in voice chat shooting the kitten with people while playing. My play times change pretty radically so a more world wide player base would be cool. Also some WVW action would be appreciated.

Just got back into the game, transferred to Jade Quarry. I’m looking for a guild for WvW and PVX stuff, just laid back cool people. Due to my work schedule I probably wont be able to be on during normal prime time hours. So preferably a big guild with people doing stuff most hours of the day.

So i’m looking to transfer into the higher tiers since im going to start working night shift, for more WvW activity during the night. But im unsure as to which server in the top 2 tiers to join. Anyone have some advice? Or a description of the servers personalities so i can choose the best server for me?

Sorry a bit of clarification, i have the skin and all, consumed it etc. But when i actually glide it looks like im gliding on nothing. I hear the water noises and move around like i am gliding, just no bubble.

So i bought the bubble glider a bit ago, and it hasn’t shown up when i am gliding since i bought it, it won’t even show in the hero panel preview. Any answers?

When the Wintersday update went live, and I looked at the gem store, I couldn’t sell my saved up mats quick enough to scrounge up enough money to buy the Fancy Wintersday Outfit. After finally getting enough gold to get the 700 gems and I bought the outfit, I loved it. I also loved the new meta-item from the update, Winter’s presence. Which is why I am completely heartbroken to find out I can’t have the Winter’s Presence item effect, and my new outfit on at the same time. I can’t proudly call the game Fashion Wars 2 if even such a basic customization as allowing the aura effects and outfits to mix isn’t possible. And at 5k/10k drinks I can’t just up and quit halfway through.

ANET. Please make mine and many others’ Wintersday a bit more happy.

So after the most recent update today I tried to open my game again, (while I was downloading the client my internet went out during the client update if that is significant) and now my client crashes as soon as I launch the game. I tried the -repair fix and as soon as I launch that I get a crash message too.

I have a PC and i’m getting the exact same problem. As soon as I start the application the launcher opens up but at the same time i get the crash message.

So the forums have been filled with a whole bunch of hate pointed towards ANET recently, thought I’d be nice to get a ANET love thread in here.

Even though I disagree with some of your changes like the 250 HP change etc., I’ve been constantly loving and having a ton of fun with the HoT expansion. Plenty of stuff to do and I’m never bored, $50 well spent. Thanks for the fun times ANET.
