The bad people force the good people to change their course(s) of action. If 100 bad people use software to do bad things, and 10 people use software to do good (well benign) things, they aren’t going to pick them out one by one. 1 Cut and the good fall with the bad. It isn’t personal.
Make it 20 SP with a max of 10 trait pts earnable and only earnable starting at 80. So basically someone would have to put on 200 levels after 80. Sure. Or you would have people skipping SP in zones just so they could go back and mass level the +10 trait pts at the end.
It is also affecting email, I assume to cut down on email spam. Changing the subject line of the mail doesn’t stop the ‘suppression’.
I had a fair chunk of chef mats on my account and my guildmate wanted to level up as a chef. After about 4 mails I got the suppression notification. 1st time it cleared in less than a min. Then it was several minutes. The 3rd occurrence I had time to log out to the desktop (thought that would clear it), come hear and read the posts then log back. My 1st send went fine then I was immediately blocked again.
I know what they are doing but it’s another tedious half-tested implementation ‘anti’ measures.
The more people that hit the ‘what now’ and wander away from the game = the less people potentially buying gems. So it is of sizable concern when the average joes start wandering away for greener pastures.
Many of the battles throughout the storylines could have been fixed (or at least made more ‘logical’) with a timer or a strength bar of the incoming hordes.
Go defend X!
Ok…..Um, how long? Hack, slash, kill. Hack, slash, kill. Rinse and repeat 5Xs. 10Xs. Still waves coming at you. THEN a cutscene and…it all ends?
A strength bar showing the bad guys strength/resolve would help clear up confusion. There were times whenI didn’t know if I was even doing the right thing and wondering if I was bugged and then the fight ended. shrug
If the final battle is the full dungeon run it seemed, I probably won’t complete it. Disappointing.
We killed the Eye and the Mouth..how much could be left (and that Mouth battle sucked a lot)
My first character I joined the Vigil but gave up during the level 70 Fort Trinity fight. As it turned out I was apparently at the END of the fight but by the time I realized where/what I was supposed to do to take the place back, all the NPCs were dead. I didn’t want to go through it all again.
I should also note that this was the 1st week of the game and I was hitting the level 70+ Orrian open world war. All undead, no hearts, few players. I stopped playing for a week or so.
My 2nd character I decided to make a tank-type thinking that was a better fit for the Vigil. I was still a fair bit bored with many of the combats, basically wave after wave of slug-fest fighting but I got to the fight with Zaitan. That is the only one I haven’t done because I read the rewards were screwed and the fight was dull to boot.
My 3rd character is a DoT/Tough Ranger and I was shocked to see the that even though I was doing the Order of Whispers, I am seeing the same fights, seemingly. At level 50 and 59 (storyline) I was just alarmed to see good ole Claw Island and the exact same fight as I did in the Vigil. Now at 62 (storyline) I am at Concordia and about to head to the ruins. I had to log out.
Is the rest of the storyline the same, more or less? In the Vigil I Chose the Hylek and the Charr Tanks but this round I will do the same battles with Skritt (dear god…) and human mercenaries?
Someone please let me know. If they are the same fights as it appears to be, I am done with the storyline after the level 60 (the 400 pt guild influence is nice and everything before that is mostly Order related, other than Claw Island). Any information is appreciated.
