I’m 30 player kills from it, and it’s been so slow to get those (clearly doesn’t count when doing support in wvw, or so it seems). A part of me hoped that it would be on par with map completions, but mystic coins? I’ll probably never use them as they need so many. :\

It’s not sub based, so why they feel the need for so many time sinks that reward so badly, i have no idea. (racial armor is same, so bad stats for price)

There has to be a bad code somewhere. I’ve done a few of these, last one was that ice dragon. I got some level 67 blue items from it (level 80 zone/mobs), did the whole event from start (about an hour all total). Another guy got several level 80 exotics, and most said they got nothing. The other events i’ve gotten mostly nothing, but one i got around 10 items, some very good loot at the time.

Took so long, wasn’t much fun (attack walls, attack the extra mobs, never really fight the dragon), and the payout was paltry, it just doesn’t feel worth it to do them again, especially if it’s not going by participation. At least Warhammer Online let you know roughly what you did and gave you an extra for that.

The teleporting waypoints take way more away from the sense of a world than mounts ever would, and i’m quite confused why they think those are okay and yet mounts which would at most speed you up a minor amount aren’t.

Gotta say too that the way the waypoint cost scales by level, not distance, is pretty stupid.

Eh, i leveled it to 400 before the AH even was ever working for me, and since you couldn’t buy or sell karma goods anyway, i don’t see how if i could it would have helped me level.

Cooking was a gold/karma sink, and i blew a ton of both on it getting it to 400. I gained a good 10 or so levels (off hand, not sure exactly) just making stuff. I’m glad i decided to basically buy 250 of whatever i could just so i could play with the discovery without having to go back. Even though i do have a lot of them, this is a beyond annoying change.

Just tried paypal, still failing. When i clicked the “try again” button, it sent me to the store for the digital edition. huh?

Unfortunately, also the Level Zones, Poor rewards with level scaling and repetitivness does take much FUN and Enjoyment out of it.

This is one of my current complaints, as i’ve been going around to the lower level zones to complete them all and am currently around level 62. I get downleveled so it will be a challenge, but the rewards are beyond useless. Some of the events are even longer and more difficult then the ones i just did in a zone that was more my level, yet all i get is under a silver or slightly over, some vendor trash, etc. :P

Once i do all the hearts this will be worse, as you only can really see events if you are kind of close to them. Would be nice if you could see at least all those in the zone you are in.

I picked it up as one, and now i’m constantly broke, but it seems the easiest to level, as long as you can get the ingredients from the heart people. I also took tailor and i’m stuck at wool level with that, but am over 300 rank with cooking. Gained a good deal of levels from doing it, once i gained three levels from just making so much stuff.

My most often eaten thing is the one that boosts magic find, not sure how good it actually works, but hopefully it does.

When i was able to purchase them, i got them instantly, but that was during head start (so glad i bought the bag space when i did).

Bought fine during head start, since then haven’t been able to. Three different cards, all work fine elsewhere, and paypal, none work for about a week now.

I’m on a M14x, and while not a m17x, i had this issue for a couple times i played. Didn’t matter what settings i used, got single digit frame rates. Not sure what changed, but after a couple restarts/shut downs, it went up to around 30fps on medium or higher settings. Not the most helpful, i know.

Same situation here. During head start, purchased fine, now can’t purchase any with any card or paypal. Cards work fine other places, have plenty of credit available, just constantly getting transaction failed.
