We just did the Great Jungle Wurm on BG and after the reset he is even less great than he used to be. Previously he would generally die to AOE before you could target him, this time he popped up and vanished within a second. Then he popped back again and vanished again. Everyone around said they didn’t get the kill so nobody got the chest.

Someone mentioned this patch buffed it so it wasn’t going to be as easy yet it seems the opposite happened.

does bg burns too much stamina last week? how come they lose by 20k when last week they hold jq by 15k for 6 days?

don’t tell me with 1 lose your mental is already gone? where is the legendary never surrender mentality from the server who cam back in t1 3 times?

stand up bg and show us that you have some bones

lol – more like JQQueue decided to shake the tree and field 4 maps full of people.

Also SoR playing harder this week so we’re got to cope with both rather than just JQQueue.

At least WvW is never dull in T1

Looks like JQQueue got the scare of their life after last weeks game and have decided that they can’t chill out this weekend and let BG have a lead going in to the week. Laughable that they are still saying the populations are similar. I wish ANet would release some info on world populations.
Also amusing that the same names pop up constantly with the same bile and hate spilling out of their mouths (Raven, Profit et al). I’m wondering how you derive such enjoyment of out being kittenhats?

Personally I think it’s been an awesome week of fighting so far and I’ve enjoyed it. I think the top 2 worlds are pretty close, although JQQueue still has the edge in numbers, and it would be nice if SoR had more people so they could be competitive rather than being 70k behind. Imagine 3 worlds evenly matched – WvW would be awesome!!

I hope everyone has a blast next week and keeps it going. Also hope the forum trolls on all sides get a severe case of sthu-itis and stop being such tools.

Thanks for the reply but it’s an Intel chip not an AMD and they don’t go to 4.5 .. the CPU is only a few months old so I don’’t think it’s the issue. Something is causing it to run badly since patch as it was great before it.

I have a question about performance too.

I have an ATI Radeon 7850 with 2gb RAM on it, a Win7 64 bit OS, 16Gb RAM with an i5-3470 CPU @ 3.2Ghz.

Lately when I run GW2 at even low res, I get lag and very low fps. I have found that if I change the affinity in task manager and run it only on 2 cores not all 4, it runs better but still slows down. The 2 cores it is running on are always around 80-90% and if I allow it access to all cores they all jump up to that level. My GPU isn’t being taxed at all and I’m wondering why this is happening.
I used to be able to run GW2 at High in WvW and still got 20fps in large zergs, 60+ outside zergs, then we had a patch a few weeks ago and it’s gone downhill.
Anyone have any suggestions? I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the video drivers as well as trying the current beta ones but I’m thinking its not the video card that is the issue.

Same here. Aus player on SoS. So much lag, d/cs and general rubbish since this morning. Was ok yesterday afternoon but since getting on today I can’t WvW or run dungeons. Nothing at my end has changed since yesterday.

Also, I usually run at best appearance and even changing to it best performance, it still sucks

3 and a half days now and I’m starting to get angry. How can you incorrectly ban people and not make ANY comments about it? I read people getting back in after 6 or 12 or 24 hours and I’m at over 80 without a change in my ticket 121113-001461

Well, finally back in game. Had to change my password for some reason but thats cool.

No comments or apologies about getting banned falsely, no assurances that it won’t happen again …. but I have my account back and am in Tyria again.

121113-001461 – well I was hoping to have good news in my mailbox when I woke up this morning but nothing. Coming up to 2 and a half days without playing after being incorrectly banned as a bot. Supplied all the info I could think of and still nothing yet. Hope this gets resolved soon as I was really looking forward to the content this weekend

Good to see Gaile back again – I understand that it’s hard to keep everyone updated and happy so I’m pleased to see her post.

Most of the good news posts have been from this fraud issue and I haven’t read a lot of success stories from these incorrectly banned accounts labeled as bots. I am going from optimism to pessimism and back again as I wait patiently for a response.

I still can’t work out why my account was labeled as this though so I’m very concerned that once I get my account back it will get flagged again unless I change … something?? It would be nice if someone from AN comes out and says it was a problem with their antibotting procedures and they have resolved it so accounts won’t get falsely flagged again, just so I don’t freak out every time something happens in game. (provided I get back on – which I’m hopeful the truth will come out and prove I’m not botting)

I am one of the victims of the Bot banning scandal =) I have an update.. I didn’t get my account back yet but I did get a response from support asking to verify my account information. and it was approx 30 hours after my original submission. I’m sure theyre slammed because..I included all that info already in my ticket, but it IS progress.

Bott banned folks keep an eye on your email they seem to have some type of method in place. GL. I’ll let ya know when/if I get back in

Not true, there is no system.

I got banned 11/10 (whichs seems like these ban waves started taking place) and I haven’t received a single response back, besides the one confirming they received my ticket.

Some people just get lucky I guess. I updated my ticket everyday and provided all necessary info in regards to my account. I’m about 5 days in since my ban.

I’m not sure why my account is suspended, but I got suspended this morning while I was playing.

The logon screen says:
“Your guild wars 2 account has been suspended for a violation of the User Agreement and Rules of Conduct.”
I don’t know what error code 45:6:3:2114 means or if it has anything to do with the reason.

I have no idea why I got suspended, and so far there is nothing in my email or on the ticket giving any further information. I was in Wayfarer Foothills with my only character (level 80), idly killing stuff waiting for the local events to start again. Yes, I do like playing around in low to middle level areas rather than going through the stress of playing in high level areas. I buy the high level mats I need for levelling crafting by selling the low level mats I get, and by scavenging mats from event rewards (eg: The Maw chain).

What did I do that went against the UA or RoC?

Well, good news for me at least. My 3-day suspension was lifted after a day and a half, and the explanation I got was that my account was suspended in error.

I do have concerns for other players however — of the 1,600 bans quoted, how many are legitimate players? 10 percent? 25 percent? Judging by how many complaints I see in this forum and in others, I would guess the number to be in the hundreds which would explain why the service team is overwhelmed. Also, it seems ANet does not want to mistakenly un-ban botters or gold sellers, so the mods etc. have to prove each player complaining to be innocent which takes more than a few minutes.

I still don’t have an answer on my other ticket about why I was gagged from in-game chat for several hours, but that’s a topic for another thread.

Banned as well. Had it happen last night and it freaked me out. Was levelling up my guardian and got kicked. Not quite sure what raised an alarm on my account. I don’t farm in one area, I generally finish everything in a map before I go on to the next one and I only have about 18g across my toons. I put my ticket in about 18 hours ago and haven’t heard anything yet.
Also – not on a Mac …. and I don’t smoke

I’m well and truly kittened (see what I did there) off – I have never used macros or bots programs and get this error that I’ve been banned. To top it off the support page is down so I can’t log a ticket!
I love that they are taking a hard stance on botting but kitten me, they need to learn about what is a real bot and what isn’t.
So angry that this has happened right before this month’s content update.
Is there a phone number we can call to sort this rubbish out?

Sorry Val but there is no phone number for Anet. There is a phone number for NCSoft office in Texas (parent company to ArenaNet) it is (512) 225-6359 All they will tell you is that “If you made a ticket then it’s in queue to be resolved soon.” I have been waiting for this to be resolved since 11/09/12. I have already filed a complaint with the better business bureau in Austin, Texas to get my money back. GW2 is a game for me, not a life style or anything that really matters. Simply put: If I cannot play the game then I must have a refund for the services not provided by the Terms of Use according to the obscene rules and regulations from this company. So go do your diligent duty and search for the b b b and file your complaint with an official agency and get your money back, then you can decide if you will spend it on a new account or buy a full tank of gas instead… I go with a carton of smokes myself, hence the smokes don’t band me wrongfully.

lol – cheers Bear but I don’t think the BBB covers us down under. Besides, I don’t want my $70 back .. I want my kitten account back.

On a positive note the support page is up and my ticket it now in ….. now to wait for my blood pressure to go down
