On a side note, I could only preview the mantle as a heavy armor piece with the transmute item. Can this be a bug? Not to sound cheap but having to buy light shoulders just to be able to preview the skin with your armor seems a bit.. silly.
If you get the Radiant Armor through the achievement rewards (I don’t believe there is any other way to get it yet), then all you have to do is get another one from your achievement panel in order to view it, because they are unlimited .
Absolutely! This is an amazing idea! I already have the stats I want for my main, but it is just that pesky aspect of trying to get the right Skin combo for his armor that is a pain. Maybe for dungeons, you could just buy the armor/weapon skins with your tokens, and it would cost significantly less than to buy the entire Beserker’s armor set in CoF. Just a thought.
So, the versatility of each class is what ANet focused on. I absolutely hate being a healer, but I love the idea of a Holy Warrior/Paragon. Hence, I play a Guardian, but it means I don’t have to be confined to healing and tanking. I can still dish out the dps whenever I want to. And in a traditional mmo, my Thief would be only damage. But instead, I can play a damage control/support Thief instead. So IMO, they [ANet] don’t need to make any changes to the classes to make them more “Unique”, and by doing that, making the game less Unique, and more like WoW or SWTOR.
I think that a new profession should be released once the Tengu or Kodan are playable. It would be based around the idea of a Pirate/Smuggler/Rogue. This class would be the privateer, and would differ in the fact that, although your race would still have huge impacts on your personal story-line, the act of choosing the Privateer class would determine certain parts of the story. For instance, whether you were Asura, Human, or Kodan, your main home instance would be and Airship or ship in the Sea of Sorrows. Being an Asura would mean that your Krewe broke off from the colleges and started to ply the trade routes as pirates set up in Lion’s Arch. Or as a Charr, your warband could do something similar. The starting boss could be a Kraken, or some other sort of deep sea monster, making it the first underwater Intro Boss. Just an idea. If anybody else has more to contribute, feel free to have a shot.
Personally, I would like it if you could add parts to your Home Instance. For example, my Human Thief is a Lightbringer in the Order of Whispers. I think it would be great if I could create a small Order hideout in my home instance, one where I controlled what was in it, and where I was the highest ranking Whispers member. I believe that they should have setups like that for all home instances. If you are Vigil, have a Vigil castle/camp in your instance, Priory would have a library, things like that. Although This game is by far the coolest mmo I have played, I wish there was more of an rpg aspect to it. That was one of the things that I loved about LotRo. Their home setup was great.
