I’ve just begun to have issues with lag spikes in pvp maps yesterday. I will keep have a spike that last about 2-5 seconds. In the period of time a lot can happen, so I was hoping for a way to resolve this issue. This only happens in PvP. I did a CM story yesterday and I had no issues and I spent some time out in the world lvling and doing my daily. No lag at all during those times. If I could get some help with this I would be greatly appreciative

What is the point of posting this? You attacked and took a BL which had VERY few defenders with a huge zerg. I came late as you were taking Cliff. I saw your numbers. If you expected us to hold you back you’re wrong.

DR has always had a low morning presence. Very low. Kain took advantage of that often just like you have. So you posting this proves nothing. Only thing I think is relevant here is that we had far inferior numbers against an organized “zerg”. Yes you are in the lead but now i know why. Ive never been on so early, but if this is what you do every morning its no wonder you’re in the lead. Whether its taking advantage of our low numbers or you are just better I think that attacking a bl that can barely defend itself is pretty low, especially against that size zerg you guys had.

Props to the SIN guardian who beat my butt twice lol. I enjoyed our brief but prolonged battles with eachother. I remember you from a few time before our last 2 fights.

Im going to miss FC and KAIN. All the faces I’m used to seeing in WvW will be truly missed. I’ll also miss zerging Chris everytime I see him :P. Love you all NP SIN KAIN ENVY BRO and all the rest I didnt mention. GL in the future. I

You know Ive come to like a lot of the players from our Tier but all I hear from some of them recently is a bunch of whining about zergs again and how “oh man we did all this but if not for this and that we would have won” or "ya we wiped you dirty DR you guys have no skill because I have made a biased decision based on my on how badly we rolled you guys and decided that you guys are all bad and need nothing but zergs to win QQ.

I dont know why you insist on putting yourself in these situations in the first place if you are so angry about them. How long are you going to brag about unimportant stuff. DR “may” have nothing but zergs but we at least arent a bunch of babies and sore losers who start getting vicious and begin to act like little pricks the moment we can.

I used to like LARP for example but ALL I hear from you guys is the same everyday. We wiped a zerg. We wiped a zerg umad? We wiped a zerg umad? We wiped a zerg umad? Real classy guys. How about you grow up and stop embarrassing your guild. I like to think the guys from LARP I enjoy fighting arent a bunch of hypocrite arrogant babies who overexaggerate every victory. The same goes for a lot of guilds but LARP was just an example. My respect for a lot of guilds diminished a lot these past few weeks for them.

I love your 3 man squad LARP. I can never kill one of you because the other always shows up. Thats probably because i run solo…I can never kill your Ele either. We had a good 1v1 going until someone started attacking me and killed me but it was fun too! I’ll get my kill yet you sly thief :P

But really props to LARP they know the power of a 3 man squad and how to be reallllyyy annoying with thief stealths lol. No but really props lol. Great teamwork.

Dank you try way too hard. I finally had the “honor” of fighting you to a point where neither of was going to die and I walked away, but for some reason you chased me all the way from Bay back to hills and then some. I even tried to tell you to stop because the fight was going nowhere yet you still kept chasing after me… Do you not like me or something. I can understand NP because I always target Chris but you?

Come to Devonas Rest. We are the top in our tier vs Kain and Ferg. I cant tell you what we need besides a morning guild to defend our BL. Kain and Ferg have a thing for attacking us in the mornings when most of our server is asleep or attending other business. But we would love to have more people for our afternoon/evening/primetime action.

I abuse this regularly on my ele. I do it anytime i have the chance. I usually end up downing the squishies with my full combo before they realize what happened, then i either get downed and run back in get rezzed by guards and do it again or I get snared…and die. Its counterable so I wouldn’t say its that bad :P Though I do feel sorry for those who get owned over and over again because they realize I’m going to heal up and come back over and over again. 1 good snare can ruin it though so it a risk/reward tactic. plz no nerf mist form.

Really? And how do you obtain those 6 slots (jewelry, back..) without heavy PvE grinding?

And if what you say is true, why is almost no one in full exotic gear in WvW?

And if I want stats other than that of exotic karma gear, what then? I have to choose inferior stats? Which brings us back to grinding for optimal gear.

Wow all of you really just whine and whine. You don’t like how the company deviates a bit from a such stupid idea in the first place and you go nuts. The people who earned Ascended gear earned it and have the right to go into WvW. Just because you got beat by someone with Ascended gear means nothing.

LOL! No one in full exotic gear? Where the heck have you been? people were in full exotics since the first week of release. You can buy your trinkets lolz…. such a baby.

Fine if you want to talk about fractals and groups then I say bring an Elementalist because we can block all Projectiles in a large area for 6sec as well, aoe blind as well with Glyph of Storms earth, knockdown and remove conditions from nearby allies all in S/F. We can also spec into reduced signet cd for blind on Signet of Air blind. Elementalist have far more than 1 trait buddy not forgetting the 2 other blinds we have from S/F. I say Eles bring a whole lot regardless of fractal.

The best are probably Guardians and Warriors. Guardians in particular seem like they’re going to be necessary 30+, because there is a lot of projectile damage, and the easiest way to deal with it is to block it. Guardians can solo block projectiles for 1:20~ or so, traited appropriately. Warrior banner regen is really good, and the banners themselves are also pretty good. Warrior damage overall is high.

Thieves/Necros/Engineers are probably the next tier. They all bring good damage and control. Thieves have AoE weakness and a projectile block, good condition or direct damage (depending how you spec), good sustainable AoE, AoE blind spam if absolutely necessary. Necros have a few decent support specs (wells), and condition+epidemic builds work really well. Fear ignores unshakable and is very useful for interrupting key boss abilities (dredge final boss healing). Engineers do great damage with grenades, and have some good ressing abilities (elixir s and toss elixir r). They also have good underwater combat damage, which does matter in one fractal.

Mesmers/Elementalist are probably third tier. Mesmers are pretty good utility, but they do not have good sustained AoE which is basically required when you’re constantly fighting 10-20 mobs on some of the harder fights at high difficulty. Elementalist support is not as good as it used to be, and you’re better off bringing more Guardians instead. Elementalist damage is alright, but conditions are ultimately going to be better, since the mobs are increasing in level as difficulty scales up, which hurts direct damage builds quite a bit. Maybe I’m wrong, but I don’t think Elementalists have any good AoE condition builds.

Rangers don’t really have a place in high level fractals. Pets can’t dodge and are just going to die to agony constantly, because I’m sure they have zero resistance to it. They also don’t bring anything unique or good that will help in a PvE situation. Sorry Rangers.

HAHA you put eles above thieves. What a troll. Do you even play an ele. We have bad aoe condition builds? lol. Go lvl a ele and come back and tell me we dont have good aoe condition builds and that thieves are much more useful in a dungeon than an ele.

Elementalist bring a whole lot to dungeons. Tons of crowd control. and we can do from a MUCH further range than thieves. We work really well with guards and warriors. Our fields dominate dungeons. If guards are the best support in the game then elementalist are the second best. But honestly elementalist can do a whole lot in my opinion. You just have to decide what kind of control you want to be doing most of the time and specialize into it. I roll with frost bow. I can slow enemies and freeze bosses for 4secs. I use S/D for the tons of blinds we have and support skills you get from it. Elementalist are much more useful than thieves. There is too much for me to go over but the possibilities are many.

Why does we never get a response in the tech support forums? Last one was forever ago. You can see they ignore us for the most part. I wish they could pop in every once in a while and just say hi at least. They don’t. I fee like they don’t even care about their game because players are reporting so many problems with their playing experience, yet we get no responses in our post. That just don’t sit right with me. Either they start fixing these problems immediately or at least keep us up to date on the happenings and what they are doing about them.

Could they at least update us on this? Its been a month since their last update. Matter of fact I wish they were like Riot or, kill me for saying this, Blizzard. These two companies have learned that having a few of their people post in the forums often makes a happier forum community. Anet could learn from their example. I WANT some sort bait I can bite.

I would love a answer to what is going on. Of course it may be my computer. May be ALL our computers.

No that didnt work for me. After a little snooping around I see that I am not the only one with this rather annoying issue.

Hi,
Ive had no problems with GW2 thus far concerning technical issues until last week when I went into WvW. My game audio bugs out everytime I get in large battles with at least 20 players. I did not have this problem for a few weeks, only now its begun to occur.

Also just today my game crashed in the middle of a fight with my guild. Im not sure why but the sound went out at the same time as well.

I have no knowledge of how to address or fix this at all, though I am quite ashamed since I’ve been trouble shooting games on my rig for years being an avid MMO players.

I would appreciate any help. I will cooperate to the fullest. Thanks
