Melee Pistols

Play Enginier, then you have your meleepistol.
Skill 2dont hit at range and Skill 4 does lesser damage at range.
So its total nice to play range….when you have go close in your best Skills.

Meleepistol is as intresting as Meleebow, Meleegun or Melee- Ninjastars.
Thats not cool, its silly.

Jepp, Meleeweapons are used in Range.
Throw them, channel energy within, lorewise fine.
But now strike with Rangeweapons or give one class the only Rangeweapon who cant hit Targets away from 130 range?
For what point?

Core Vs Elite Spec: third spec slot buff

More build-combination dont bring better balance, it only makes it worse.
Especally if you add new mechanics, who allow even more combinations.

To buff the core- specs is always good, but give the same buff to the elitespecs is pointless.

For better core/elitespec we dont need even more mechanics and more powercreep, we need to rework stoneold traits/skills.
(guardian spiritweapons anyone?)

Problem for later is not core vs elite, its the problem, every class has only on Elite to choose from.
Give every class, lets say 3 elitespecs, so we really have to choose carefully.

New Race !

A new race is only hell of develop-work for too less effort.

As Jaken said, you need a complete new starter-Zone, quests, new animations, new models and all of this for all possible Classes and pers. storyline.
Nearly from scrap.

When new race, then we never get this for free.
20 bucks min, or +20 Bucks more, if the next expansion brings a new race.

Dont change the farming spot, just change the fact, that you actually CAN do afk-farming.

No game-input for 10 min?—> auto-logout.
And/or despawn/store of all Pets and minions after 5 min without moving.

Since we have despawn-timers for nearly all other pets/minions etc in game, this shouldnt be too hard to implement.

Warrior or Necro? Solo PvE

Solo PVE both are great.

I prefer necro.
- mass non- Melee-Aoe and CC
- minions
- many AoE-CC on Nec is for free and not like Warrior on lowDPS Weapon
- adrenalin goes away without fighting, lifeforce stays
- better range- weapons

Necro is more easy to play and forgive more, just because of minions/CC and his second Healthbar.

Problem here:
Rev already have midrange-Condi-skills.

Mace/Axe + Mallx offers enogh range and Aoe, you wont need Meleerange or autoattack.
410 range from Mace 2
410+Leaprange from Mace 3
900 Range on Axe Offhand 5
600+240(Radius) from Mallyx, Unyielding Angiush
All of them are more or less huge AOE.

So an range-condi-weapon could only be singletarget.
And you had to change all these Midrange AoEs to more meleebased variants.

Some Revenant Ideas

Sorry, i dont had the time for all, but i try´d.
In short, most times its just the numbers of range/streng or too much additional funtions of the skills.
In general, revenant is weaker against conditions, but really strong in many other ways.
Change this with more condicleanse or even an poisen-immune heal is not the best idea.

-Project Tranquility
360-450 radis is way too much.
240ér AOE is huge enough, 450 would go over the whole screen.
Maxium increase to 300, not more.
0,15 coefficient is +200% more.
Way too much, start with 25%-50% more.
Better decrease the intervall to 1 ore 2 sec and decrease the healing, so you have more and more frequent heal in the end.

-Ventari’s Will
Cooldown to 3 sec….wy not.
When spamming weaponskills and other heals we dont have time and energy, to spam this skill on cooldown anyway.
But not with condicleanse.
3 sek cooldown AOE-Condicleanse for 10e is too cheap, and ventari already has his condicleanse, he has to really carfull to use.
What this skill needs too, is the visibylity of the way it travels.
Like the Stoneroad.
With this, we can see and plan, which way to send the tablet.

-Natural Harmony
As before, max 200 radius, 360-450 is too much.
The 1 sec delay is ok, so its no brainless fireandforget heal.
More heal is difficult, the skill is cheap and Ventari has more then one heal we can chain on another.
Make one Heal too easy and too cheap, and we dont chain, but spam the best Heal instead.

-Purifying Essence
Too much radius, and please no AOE stunbreak.
Stunbreak when, then only for yourself.

-Energy Expulsion
This skill already has too many functions, so build in even more AND make it even easier to use is not the best way.
More functions only by offering per trait.
The thing on this skill, what bug me on this skill the most is the Heal coming from the shards, players have to pick up.
Make this a Field, a ring, a barrier, or an simple AOE-Heal, but these bundles are nothing, we can play and with.

But, bring in Cripple or other CC to ventari is a good idea!
Wy not Cripple on Ventaris will?
Then the skill would have a offensive/cc use too!

Dwarf Stance:

-Inspiring Reinforcement
Lesser enery cost OR instant AOE-Stunbreak.
Both is just too much.
I would prefer lesser costs, instant aoe Stunbreak is just too much anyway.
And with your ventari-ideas, rev. would have 2x Aoe Stunbreak.

-Forced Engagement
Lesser cost, sure.
But problem is the missing PvE/Pve-Split.
Lesser costs would be really usefull for PvE, but too good for PvP.

-Vengeful Hammers
Jepp, debug this would be reaaaally nice.

-Rite of the Great Dwarf
Is this elite this broken, so we have to change the funktion this harsh?
Build in a strong trait an make it instant is just too much.
The stunbreak is really usefull in PvE, so you dont have to swap the Legends for stunbreak.

Demon Stance:

-Empowering Misery
The skill already profits from conditions, so heal with immunity to poison is a bit too much.

-Banish Enchantment
Make the skill stronger OR increase range.
Both is way too much.
And dont forget the “unblockable”, or that its an AOE.

Trait Changes

Corruption:

-Replenishing Despair
0,1 scaling from 0,01….yeah, its only 1000% more….(^^)
This would be the same scaling like the 2.effect from -Empowering Misery
Misery
But every 1 sek and without cost.
Start with 0,015 or 0,2 sacling.

Noob rev needs some advice

The real use of Glint is boonspending for other players.

For thrasmobbing, boons like swiftness or for -5ene Protection is early pointless.
Only for yourself even more.
Even might and fury are nothing in compare to the devastating effekts of Malis(evil CC/AOE) or Shiro.(Quickness)

When use Glint, then pop out the facets with most dmg and then bomb before enery runs out.
After that, switch to another one with full 50% energy.
Drain this and back to glint.
And dont forget, that you can get fury and might as well from Traits and combos.
(Fury from many Invocation-traits, might from mace 2+3 etc)

Shiro is strong, but the Quickness burns the energy too fast.
Jalis/Mallxs depends on Power(Jalis) or Condition (Mallyx)-Equip.

Ventari's Will

Ventai already has two "Burst"heals.
Change Ventaris Will into the 3. one is pointless.
Better change cost/strengh of the others, when Ventari need more burst.

From my point, Anet should never ever implement these HealSpecs (Druid, Celestial Avatar, Ventari) anyways.
Keeping the holy trinity outside AND present strong healers in Game is just impossible.
So the heal will allways feel too weak, especally, when the spec cant really do anything but heal/condiclean.

For Ventaris will, first i would change is the radius, from 120 to 130 melee-standard.
Sound too little, but it´s 10% more range.
Second, we definitly need to SEE, where the tablet will go, like the visibility for Inspiring Reinforcement. (the stone road)

More Hack&Slay?
Sure, so we have even more mapcleaning, boring zergtraings.
Gw2 is no hack&slay-Title, so dont implement more hack&slay in it.

Ki-Companions like Gw1?
Besides Fraktals/dungeons/pvp you can do 99% of the game solo.
Most Part of Gw2 Core, especally non rewarding trashmobbing is boring easy.
And now you want Gw1-Heros, so you dont need other players anymore, for the last 1% and making all the rest even more boring easy?
Wy playing an MMO then anyway?

Most Players out there DONT want to play with other people.
They just horde up, when some interresing pops up, but not for playing together, but for the reward or just farming.
And the game is made for people playing togehter.
Give them all their own “Heros”, and you kill the entire concept of the game.

We already have Necro as Corruption/ Condi+Minionclass.
And he get a greatsword as Reaper.
Wy invent the same thing as legend for rev?…..totally boring and pointless.

Trahearne as Legend…besides Monsters like Glint, Mallyx or Shiro?
Maybe lore-, but not playerwise, since noone like him.

We have tons of great names from gw1 to choose, every Endboss would fit as well.
Kanaxai, Urgoz, Menzies, Lich, etcetc.

And definiltly no undead minions….because of copycat-necro.
Maybe Ghosts(Adelbern or King of Orr as as legend), or Ritu-Spirits from Togo.
Many possibilitys….whithout Trawhine or copycat.
