5g for a certain Rune but you search it up and you can get the same one from a Vendor with enough Ley-line and 2g. If i buy the PvE rune, does it unlock it for pvp also? or do i really have to buy that locked PvP rune just to use in PvP only?
I’m gonna start crafting and like to do it without spending too much time on it.
I just received my first Chest of Loyalty and don’t know what to pick yet:
Chest of Ascended Crafting Materials
Chest of Legendary Crafting Materials
Chest of Plentiful Laurels(20)
Chest of Grand Experience(6 Tomes of Knowledge)
I see that each thing they contain is still attainable in game except for laurels, only rewarded through logging in.
I haven’t use any tomes, laurels, or even started crafting yet. I’m not even level 80 yet.
I’m thinking maybe laurels because they take long to get but I have no idea how long it takes to get the ascended or legendary materials, I don’t have any of those materials yet and no idea what they would be best used for.
Thanks
I was in a similar situation but you have a lot of things on the other account, upgrade seems like the thing to do but for me I had only put some hours into it. Ended up buying HoT edition thus having second account and becoming my main. Gave first account to my sister to play but now that I’m reading this post, I never thought about checking dailies on first account. I did keep my characters though, they are just good for birthday gifts and extra storage if needed.
I’m just going to list a few things down and you tell me what would be best in the long run.
Currently lv 20 revenant and now finding more salvage items.
All I have is a crude salvage kit you get from rewards.
Is it better to buy the best salvage kit as soon as possible for the higher chance salvage?
What rarity items should only be salvaged?(basic , fine, masterwork, etc.)
I’m getting salvage items worth maybe 2-4 silver each but will give me jute scraps for example. Will I get rewarded some later?
I’m saying if I’m gonna get those materials anyways through a different method instead of salvaging, then I should sell the salvage items that are worth more than the materials itself.
When I played first guild wars; I only targeted the materials I was interested in at a fixed amount, anything that went over would be sold.
But there is so much crafting in this game and materials, It’s overwhelming at first and don’t know what I want and don’t want to cast anything out. I still want to experience what this game offers. There are all sorts of disciplines.
I haven’t even crafted a thing yet. I just play what the game gives me and role with that.
Now what do you recommend?
What should I always do and never do?
Please explain the best you can. Thanks.
My nephew and I each bought a new account a few days ago. We are going through our 1st playthrough of Guild Wars 2 and we like to join a nice group of people that we can enjoy the game with.
