They really need to give power to the players and allow us to create alliances and create a match making for WvW between alliances. Creating new servers will lead to the same problems we have now.

Yep, there was a graphics driver update earlier this month, got it now and will be doing lots of WvW tonight so I’ll update here if it crashes. Hopefully you’re right and its something stupidly simple that I missed!

Ever since I built my computer a few months back the only game that keeps crashing on me is this one. My room can get hot so I figured it might be my GPU overheating, so I installed EVGA Precision and turned the fans higher. This helps usually, but unless the fans are near 100% the game will still crash in WvW.

When it crashes everything freezes on screen and a loud buzzing starts to play from my speakers. I can’t do anything else besides hard reset my computer.

If the solution is to simply play GW2 with my fans at 100% then I’ll deal with it, but I’m hoping someone might know if the issue is something else.

Also forgot to add but I’m playing with the graphics set to low/medium. Even crashed today in the guild hall with those settings. Really feel like with the specs I have, high should be something easy to achieve…

Hello Thunderdragon, I lead Rift Legion [Mist] on Sorrow’s Furnace. I’ve been looking for a second commander who wants to seriously do it and is skilled.

- The guild is a bit goofy, we tend to have a lot of dark humor and weird jokes, however we can be serious when the situation calls for it such as a WvW fight. Would prefer you join us in TS to get to know us before committing, there are lots of different kinds of humor after all.

- We’re sorta mixed. We do talk builds and mess with stuff, however I do not enforce specific builds or classes. I wont force anyone to change builds either unless they want to be critiqued or they are performing extremely bad, such as dying in the first push in every fight.

- Its 64 members currently. On the best nights its usually 10-15. I’ve been recruiting to get it to 15-20.

- Like I said above I’ve been looking for a second commander, your skills would fit in very well and you can definitely earn your keep and reputation. As it is Sorrow’s Furnace could use another commander.

- Currently we are in Tier 5. I can’t speak for every opinion on SF, but I know from several guilds in alliance to us in WvW that we want to stay in T5. If we push up to T4 that is good too, but first solidifying our spot in T5 and not getting pushed down to T6.

We tend to run 6-12 pm est on weekdays and later on weekends. With you being on 7-8pm PST that works perfectly. As I have many PST members who stop running WvW cause I hop off or join another commander and would be glad to follow you.

I do believe strongly you could fit in and be a huge benefit to Mist and of course the guild being a huge benefit to you. We should definitely talk further in TS, message me in-game Silverah Shadowhart ( Varylnard.4328 ).

Honestly, a majority of the changes from HoT to me were a right step in promoting less blob warfare, part of the problem is the user base ignoring the new BL. However I understand why a lot of guilds ignore the BL for different reasons. The first change to make yaks valuable again is probably the most important thing to get people in the new map. All of the other changes are also fantastic. If there can just be a greater emphsize on promoting servers to spread out across all four maps it’ll make WvW much more crazier, hopefully these changes are the first step in getting closer to that goal.

Rift Legion [Mist] is a WvW guild on Sorrow’s Furnace (SF or better known as Sad Oven) with a focus on havoc and home BL defense seeking more members to bolster our ranks. New and veteran players who find enjoyment in being outnumbered in fights are welcomed.

The guild is laid back with no enforced builds, though we will gladly work with anyone who seeks to improve their builds. Every profession is currently accepted and repping is only required when running with us.

While running we are usually on the SF server’s teamspeak, and it is suggested any new members download the TS client.

We are primarily active between 7-12pm eastern on weekdays, and longer into the night on weekends. We run on WvW reset night and do guild missions on Sunday at 9pm eastern. We tend to run in WvW daily and occasionally we group up in pve/spvp content depending what everyone wants.

Additionally I am seeking an additional commander or two to help me lead in WvW and other events such as guild missions when I am unavailable. New or expert commanders are welcomed in this and I’m perfectly fine sharing my knowledge where its needed.

Members should be open to criticism, and be willing to work on improving their builds for the better of the group. We will gladly work with anyone who seek to improve. Every profession is accepted.

Our primary time zone is US eastern, with most members on 7pm-12am (usually later on weekends). Our official WvW raid nights are Friday for reset, and Saturday/Tuesday at 8:30. We do tend to run on other nights as well.

You must rep the guild at all times during WvW, and we do require all members to download Teamspeak and join us in the EBay community server.

Mind telling us the server you are on or if you are willing to transfer? As I lead a smallish PvX guild that does lean a lot more towards WvW on HoD.

The guild will be more laid back, we wont be enforcing specific builds, but instead suggest builds that anyone can use and change to their own benefits, as long as you live in the fight. Every profession is currently accepted, having proficiency in multiple professions is a bonus. We will not require repping besides when you join us for raid nights. My original home server was DR, from there I was convinced by a friend to transfer to SBI and then after the first season, I switched to HoD. It was in HoD where I made a connection to the server and not just the guild I had moved with. Whether I was tagged up or just roaming there was always friendly players who I could trust to help capture any objective.

Shortly after season 2 I left to FA and just a few short weeks later regretted my decision. Now I’m committed to HoD, and can’t see myself switching servers. The community is strong and loyal to the server, a very tight knit group that will fight against any server no matter the odds stacked against them.

VICTORY FOR THE HENGE!

Best way to do this in my opinion is implementing something similar to guild wars 1 books/EOTN pool. Allowing our characters to relive past events.

The title kind of speaks for itself. I remember Anet mentioning there would be a way to replay missions in your personal story but the function has yet to be implemented. Therefore, I was wondering if there was any news for it. As well, I would like to suggest to Anet that they add in Living Story to the re-playability when/if it’s implemented. Considering that, not every new and experienced player got the chance to enjoy the content in its limited time and might find great interest in the chance to go back and enjoy the content and earn the titles/items they missed. As well, players who have finished the living story might want to go back and re-experience it in the coming years with their original characters or new ones.

Seeing how there has not been a lot of living story events so far this feature for the game might not find a lot of use especially when the first story has just ended. Nevertheless, I believe that it would in the coming years benefit Anet greatly to add to the permanent content of the game without breaking the world and its story considering that in GW1 we had the books from the mini expansion to enjoy different heroes and the pool from the EOTN to re-experience our characters great deeds.
