Can I not have the actual jewelry be pow/tough/vit and the jewel be pow/pres/crit dam?
Will I not have the opportunity to customize my jewelry the way I want with ascended gear?

Out of Stealth Skills

Stealth is a tricky mechanic to perfect in every game, I think AN has done a good job so far but with the impending changes to the thief.

I believe that all stealth skills should have effects that would discourage going in and out of stealth in quick succession. The problem with having such an intricate system is that balancing a weapon for a certain weapon set has effects on the other weapon sets. The magnitude of the stealth skill should be determined by how often stealth can be reapplied.

For example, using a dagger in the off hand allows player to go in and out of stealth very quickly and as such should have a less powerful out of stealth skill than the short bow.

The stealth skill should reward the thief for staying out of stealth after they have used it. The problem with backstab is it rewards thieves for the re application of stealth. Backstab should give might or fury when hit from behind, giving the player incentive to stay out of stealth to deal their damage, a similar strategy has been used by AN to tweak Assassin’s Signet.

If they make the lower level zones just as hard to complete as the higher level ones, then there is literally no benefit from levelling to max as far as ease of fighting with PvE.

If you earn level 80, you have also earned the right to dominate low level mobs.

There isn’t supposed to be an endgame, and if they wanted you to dominate low levels there wouldn’t be a downleveling system.

Problem: The current state of the game is that when people reach 80 they farm Cursed Shore and don’t pay attention to any other zone. I believe that players should receive equal rewards from going to any zone.

Make dynamic Events in lower zones give the same experience, gold, and karma as those in higher level zones. The amount of experience, gold, and karma you receive for completing an event should be only based on what level you are and the type of event. Also, reward players with a high rewards for completing an event the first time in a certain time period and then diminish the rewards. However, this won’t stop players from farming Orr because of the materials in the region and the drops. I’ll get to this later.

Problem: Lower level content is too easy to complete when you a high level, the downscaling system isn’t perfect.

The scaling system should not be based on percentages, but on the level armor of the zone you are in. Let me explain, if you are level 80 and have full rare armor then when you visit a level 30 zone your armor would be scaled down to a level 30 rare. From there your armor should be downscaled(percent) depending on what area of the zone you are in. Exotics should receive their own tier in lower level zones since they are only available at level 80.

Problem: Most players make their money from drops and in lower level areas they will not make as much money compared to higher level areas.

Make mobs that are associated with events drop “coins” or “tokens” that would be sold to venders for gold. These would only drop if you have completed the zone and be sold to vendors for gold depending on you level. The game calculates what item would have dropped and gives you tokens based on the tier. Also they could be used as a new material for mystic forge recipes. This would not interfere with players trying to complete the zone and the feature could be turned off

Effect on the Trading Post
The price of high level items would increase. Other than that nothing else because players won’t receive drops and instead would receive tokens.
