Still visiting the forums everyday hoping to find the removal announcement of ascended gear ^^ just kidding. Yet I like reading the forums.

Still playing the game, no doubt about it…but it has become far less since the ascended items were put in the game.
Now there was the PS2 release.. maybe it’s getting even less…but I doubt that i entirely stop playing it in the next month.
just because the minority of players wines about getting bored doesnt mean that the vast majority of the community want that too.
contribution to the topic: better skins is nice but not better stats…
You’ve got it COMPLETELY backwards. The Majority of customers wanted it to stay just as it was. The small vocal minority whined so much that ANet has now taken steps that very well may hamper the game for the majority of people who liked it just how it was.
That’s because 90% of the guild mates and friends of that “small vocal minority” simply stopped logging instead of saying anything.
Bottom line: You can’t change human nature, there is a need for a carrot and skins were not it.
Problem?
There is no subscription, you can stop playing whenever you wish. If you’re friends do not find any motivation to play, they stopped playing and didn’t. That’s the right way to go.
If you don’t like it, stop playing it. Why qq about nothing left to do? No one forces you to play.
84 pages in which most of the people are raging about these new items, in a game that was promised to have no gear treadmill, just because people that cannot accept that this game might not be for them qq’ed.
Who are thos people that need to adjust to this kitten now? Those loyal people that didnt qq and got what they paid for.
One could assume that the community is quite upset with the coming introduction of ascended gear.
Why don’t they just adjust the stats of the as.gear to that of the exotics?
Should be fairly easy and probably less work than adjusting the legendaries when the ascended weapons hit the live version.
Are increased stats really necessary? Why?
Isn’t it motivating enough reach new depths of the new dungeon…and having to opt you’re gear for that ?
Greater stats aren’t necessary… who the kitten thought of that?

I was very happy that it was relatively easy to get the best gear in form of exotics.
I did like that guild wars 2 was mainly about skins and cosmetics
I did like that the best gear could be obtained through pve, pvp and crafting.
I am against ascended gear.
I do not like that this gear got better stats than exotic gear.
This is a major drawback for me and I will slowly lose interest in the game.
Ascended gear is just the first step.
In two month people will qq again to get more epixx because they are not able
to find any more motivation.
I vote against ascended gear.

reduce everything to a minimum (resolution too). you probably won’t get a big increase in fps.
Your CPU won’t be at 100% if it’s limiting your performance.
Is your graphic card at 100%? If it is..well yep than it’s probably the graphics card.. if not .. chances are it’s the CPU.
Search the forum or google it. I found “answers” too…but if you find anything about someone playing with high fps and an i7 .. send me a pm

Low fps probably caused by CPU , got an i7 920 myself and a comparable framerate.
You can try to overclock it, but I have no idea if it will increase the fps significally.
edit: Turning off reflections gave me a little increase.

Depends on which dungeon you’re in I guess but I could say the same about WvW. In large battles I mean.

Got no problem there,. If the vendor wants to give me more money…so be it. Although i’d love to see a reduction in listing and transactions fees.

crafted my one exotic gear an happy with it (so much cheaper :o) )
If I wanted to sell it on the TP i’d still make about 15s per piece.
