The real problem here is invisible enemies. Give their algorithms time to match servers properly.

I just had this happen with a downed player last night.
Not even that big of a battle, but there was no indication of their presence whatsoever save from something plinging me and a “FINISH THEM!” notice.
Yeah, it was Dragonbrand’s full coverage that did us in. It was pretty much blow for blow until nighttime. TC got a bit of an edge because of a bugged orb and I think Maguuma gave up earlier and more completely. I don’t think this is going to be as lopsided a fight.
Transferring to the enemy server to spy, prevent use of siege equipment, etc.

I think this really just calls for more widespread server coordination and vetting. Though I think passing control of siege would be a good option, as well as perhaps locking out the ability for supply to be taken from towers/keeps/stonemist and instead make repairs a quartermaster function.
Maguuma and Tarnished Coast were actually doing okay against Dragonbrand for a short while – even during the night – but the orb bonuses just add up. Once the map looks bad enough, people just give up, and that’s it until enough people log on to rally. We have some pretty epic fights taking stuff back, but that’s the end of it really.
