Guild Wars 2

I´m facing the same problem. To the point that my game completly froze while i was in a pvp match, and ppl reported me , because they thought i was afk. I could type (but not post) and read their chat, but couldnt use a single skill or do anything at all, not even go through the portal on “Legacy of the Foefire”. This is quite annoying, because it happens alot lately.
Now im abit afraid of even joining pvp, because i dont want lag/freeze again.

Good evening fellow Tyrians.
I assume most of you are running around in the newly discovered jungle areas, fighting of wyverns and getting owned by Pocket Raptors.
I for myself enjoyed every minuted since Friday morning that this first expansion pack for Guild Wars 2 brought to me, and im amazed by how much love Arena Net has put into it.
The environment, the Characters, the stories, the dialog, the art style, the sound effects (fantastic work), the soundtrack (fantastic work again, i even listen to it outside of the game) and everything else that i forgot to mention.
I love this expansion pack. It makes me smile, and it makes me genuine enjoy the time that i spend playing Guild Wars 2.

Yes, I am praising the game, and yes, i might ignore a few tweeks that are needed here and there, eventhough i didnt encounter any problem, bug or anything compareable yet. But im praising the game on purpose, because there is quite alot of “rant” going on, specially on this forum. I do specifically mean rant, not constructive criticism.
You are taking away the fun for yourself. By focusing so much on that one thing that you do not enjoy atm, you are missing out on all the enjoyment this expansion pack could bring to you.
Yes i do know that some people gonna say that they are not able to enjoy Heart of Thorns without their elite spec. Im enjoying it, eventhough i only unlocked a single new skill on my Necromancer. Ofcourse i would want to try out all skills immediately, but i can wait and just enjoy the time it takes to unlock each new skill, because it is actually alot of fun.
Treat it like the time before christmas, when you cant wait to have all your presents, yet, looking back when christmas finaly arived you already miss that feeling of excitement and anticipation.
Be abit easier on yourself and enjoy what Arena Net had created for all of us. (Btw, be abit easier on Arena Net too, they worked on this, its their gem and they do everything they can to fix any bugs or problems)

TDLR: Dont cling yourself to the negative things and have fun.

I don´t know how to feel about the core game going f2p. I´m abit worried about, since i have yet to make a good experience with a f2p game/playerbase. The b2p concept of Guild Wars 2 was perfect for me. But we will see. I trust Anet not to ruin their community, since it is something they are specially proud of.

About IGN leaking/spoiling the special announcement that Anet seemed to have planned for quite some time, and where probably equally excited about (not about the reveal itself, but the playerbase reactions), i got to say, these are simply bad manners.
Maybe Anet should seriously think about not sharing any news with IGN in the future. It was the work of countless developers at Anet, so it was up to them reveal it in any way and at any time they thought it was appropriate.

Anyhow, dear Anet, i bet most of the players are still hyped about saturday. So dont let some “click/traffic hungry” business like IGN ruin what you ve worked on for so long.

Nothing special. I´m saving up for Strider´s Armor, because im tired of the “underboob-look” but i don´t want my character to run around with a “buttcape” either.

I got to admit, i love the recent backpacks.
Specially the Daydreamer´s Wings Backpack.
Now it looks like Anet is going to add another butterfly themed backpack into the gemstore, and i love it.
(It´s not in game yet – 7.7.15)

We can finaly roleplay our favorite Monk, or just look really nice.

Im not sure, but the white version looks less “stiff” compared to the black wings backpack.

Today´s patch added a really nice looking new backpack (not avaible yet), which is matching the Daydreamer’s Finery Outfit.
It is animated as well.

I thought about this for quite a while, should i put it out there, should i not. Since im far from being profesional or even good.
