Hi I have a problem and was wondering if other elementalists ever encountered it. I started using a staff today after not playing my elementalist for a while. The problem is i simply cannot use healing rain or windborne speed. The abilities show that they are learned but hitting the hotkey nor clicking it outright will trigger it. I can switch to fire attunement and use meteor shower but if i go back into water or air and try to use the aforementioned abilities they done work. I don’t use any different keybinds, its just 1-5. Has anyone else experienced this?
Thanks.
I love a good trench coat but not 24/7. Even if you find one that isnt a full coat it always has some sort of skirt hanging around. I got some kickin’ cowboy jeans I’d like to show off give me a short jacket or something please.
edit: Oh and I am aware there are a couple short shirt type armors but they have puffy pirate sleeves and it sorta clashes.

25, I didn’t enjoy it much, never even reached max level. The combat just wasn’t something I liked , the abilities being tied to weapons was too restricting and most slot skills seemed lackluster. I would have enjoyed pvp had there been no “downed mechanic.”
You guys can argue semantics on what a necromancer technically is forever, but at the end of the day, the summons in game are lame and not at all imposing outside of maybe the flesh golem. The balloon and the skull rats are definitely underwhelming to look at.
Cant you just water the crops and feed the cow a couple times and move on with your day? Not only is he stealing wurms but he has stolen your time by you coming here and complaining about it. Just note that he is a kitten and move on. This isn’t any kind of big issue.
This is my opinion. I am personally a little let down by almost every aspect of the game. The main problem I had with pve is the lack of holy trinity. On paper it sounds like a great idea, but to me it just lends itself to so much chaos. Enemies are running around all over the place like a chicken with their head cut off and if there are tons of people fighting and aoeing, it makes it hard to see when to actually dodge anything, because of all the spell effects. It also removes full time tanking/healing roles which I find very fun.
In regards to pvp I feel the only things that brought something new was the lack of gear imbalance and the downed mechanic. I enjoyed the lack of gear advantages but had a very big problem with the downed mechanic. Again I feel like it sounds great on paper. Coming back for a second wind to overcome the odds, but I think it slows the game down too much. It just feels like it takes longer to kill someone that is down on the ground than actually fighting them outright which doesn’t make much sense to me. I don’t think the tactical decision making it brings is worth the glory of going 1v3 and taking out 1 or 2 people before you go down.
I’ve never been interested in crafting really so I can’t comment on that aspect other than it seems the same as any other standard mmo crafting. Though the xp going towards your character level is a nice bonus.
I felt the story was kind of boring the way it was presented and found the voice acting to be cringe worthy at times. In the beginning I would watch the cutscenes but after a while I found myself just skipping it and not feeling like I was missing much.
On the positive side I really enjoyed the world. I like beautiful large zones and I think the way point system was a great idea. I thoroughly enjoyed the exploration aspect. Getting all the vistas and points of interest and even jumping puzzles was fun for me. Seeing numbers on the map, like 6/7 vistas found or skill points completed etc. really appealed to my OCD side and I felt a sense of accomplishment when I 100% a map. I also liked that scaling allowed you to go to lower zones and play with friends.
All in all, I’d say I don’t regret buying it as it is free to play and some changes down the road may see me return. The great exploration just isn’t enough to overcome the major problems I have with the core systems of pve/pvp.
