it is a simple fix that exists in almost every other mmo game. All ANET has to do is add delay so if said cry baby ALT F4’s out their character still stays in game for say 30 seconds or so. Of course this would apply to anything so if you lag out the same thing would apply but that is not a big deal. This is becoming a huge problem in WvW.
ANET please add a 30 second delay on alt F4 in wvw. It is getting ridiculous already. Half the people now alt F4 as it is just as fast as dying and costs them nothing in repairs. This is the easiest fix in MMO’s. Just add a delay.
Seriously WvW has enough problems and this just makes it worse. Running in a zerg you don’t notice this as much but if you run small groups everyone now alt F4’s once you down them. Just pathetic.
The problem is that you have 4 borderlands and well over 30 targets to attack/defend. There is just way to many objectives so it plays more like an arcade game. Most keeps ive seen taken the attackers are gone within seconds. If you stop to get supply even you are behind the group moving onto the next target. I do like WvW but for me I miss true open world pvp and this is the best pvp in an mmo that I can think of. The game is still new so maybe some positive changes will come about. I have spent 75% of my time in wvw and it is starting to get very boring.
This is just a quick post to comment on a little asuran warrior from Dew aka Dynasty Elite Warriors. This fella alt F4’s every time you kill him. I find it amusing that he is in a guild with the word elite in it. Sorry just had to mention this. Other than that there has been some good fights with sorrows the past few nights. I love the competitive spirit by these folks and applaud them for just ignoring the score as it means nothing anyways. Play to have fun.
I for one hate winning by this much as it discourages people from PvP in general. It was fun last week even though we(NSP) were losing we had a good time. We could always find a good fight. I usually do WvWvW late at night and have had many great battles with all the South American guilds. These guys have all been a class act. The past few nights I have not seen them as much and I hope that changes. Human Ranger from Chile with the Jaguar much respect man we have fought well over 25 times and it has been fun.

What a great night last night in Sorrow’s Borderlands. I am from NSP and although we were outnumbered much of the night it was still a great time and we had some great battles along the way. Many thanks to SF you guys are truly a great bunch.
On Wednesday night 8 NSF members working together fought with a group of about 15 EB members for hours and it was brilliant. The fights for the tower were awesome and I am sure both sides had many kills. Last night was a different story as NSF could only muster about 5-8 people in the EB Borderlands. I will not complain as SF had maybe 3-5 while EB had its usual 15-30 depending if we took anything. The match has been fun but 90% of the time EB outnumbers NSF and SF combined at least 10-1.
Hello I started to get map lag with the halloween patch. Basically it just lags on the map only and it is a bugger to say pick a waypoint or my fav run around using the map to explore for lazy travel. This happens about half the time where as before the halloween event never had this before.
Am I the only one?
Hi everyone I had this problem a few times as well. It is an easy fix. Hit your apple button while the game is running (command tab to get out) then goto system preferences, then mouse. Adjust your slider a bit and put it where you like and the problem goes away. If it happens again say after switching servers or new patch just repeat.

As per the title I am looking for a mature only guild on the Maguuma server. I am interested in everything PVE, SPVP, WVW. I am a new player who is still getting his feet wet.

Ya I am really hoping so. I run most games on Ultra so will be weird to not do that lol. I also have a 50mb internet connection but not sure how that will affect anything in an MMO.

I am downloading the game now. About half way done.
I am hoping the game will run fine on my mac side. If not I will run it in bootcamp.
