I always thought of the monthly as encouraging people to try out aspects of the game they normally might not be into such as fractals and WvW and this month, there is the jumping puzzle one.
That said, the fractals are my least favorite part of the game so I would rather they not be part of the monthly but what can you do? The devs clearly want people to at least try them out so no use complaining about it. Like someone else said, it’s only 2 fractal levels.
For sure it’s worth it. I love not having a sub fee!
I’m loving my engineer as well. I struggled to get into playing him at first but once I saw the 1 skill underwater was a torpedo I was hooked. I silly I know but as a former submariner I thought it was really cool.
