It all depends if you have guild/static group (planning to look for one) or you will be mainly puging stuff.
As main Rev since pretty much start of expansion and still exclusively playing it, I feel like I can’t recommend it at all unfortunately.
Its almost impossible to find pug for raids as damage revenant, let alone healer (beside 1 boss as kiter out of all 4 wings). Tho, keep in mind that there is always option where you start your own raids. Finding guild or static group could work but then again I can only say this from experience, even in guilds you will eventually face times when you will be asked “hey mind playing X class for this encounter” or “mind playing this for progress” and such.
I guess doing Fractals and Dungeons shouldn’t be issue whatever you play but generally full healers are not something that tends to work out that great in pugs since nature of revenants healing, and believe me(tried it many times) it can be hell trying to keep people alive while they run around with no sense of your tablet at all. At that point might as well roll as power in fractals.
All in all, make sure to think through your decision extensively before you commit to revenant as main. I could type and make it grim even more but looking at revenant forum section here tells you all. In essence every profession is playable, some with ease, some with hard times.
I still play revenant as main pretty much exclusively (mainly because I’m stubborn and tend to stick to class I play and generally improve upon it rather that switching alts all the time), but it’s been hard lately, so much that I’m tempted to finally give in and reroll.

EU player looking for raid team that raids once/twice a week. I’m mainly applying with Revenant and also looking for group of people who are openly minded and not just meta/qT bots. I’m fully aware that Revenant might not be in best spot at the moemnt but also at the same time I feel its perfectly fine to bring to a normal raid clear just as any other profession. (I also have geared druid and elementalist but as mentioned above I’m applying with Revenant and would expect to play it majority of time. Revenant is geared as power, healer and currently working on condi set.)
I’m experienced raider coming from different MMO’s in past and also have cleared current content (all 3 wings) multiple time. Always come prepared and have appropriate consumables.
I’m looking for raid team rather than guild. While I’m happy to join guild and socialize I cannot offer 100% represent time since I’m also active WvW/PvP player and spend time there with my main guild.
TL;DR Looking for relaxed and chill bunch of people who enjoy game to raid with and have good time.
When I logged today after patch and tried to interact with any of crafting masters in Ebonhawke (Fields of Ruin) I got crashed back to character select screen and also got small rollback when I logged in (rollback in a sense that staff I moved to bank or chests I open after logging into game and before interacting with crafting masters).
I tried crafting masters in LA and they worked just fine. Didn’t test anywhere else.
As title says I’m looking for group of people that have clearing of content in mind. That said I’m not strictly looking for hardcore people or veterans, rather people who learn from mistakes, know professions they are playing and are serious about clearing content.
I enjoy PvP and WvW aspect of this game as well so I don’t spend my whole game time in PvE world and due to that I’m looking for group that would raid 1-3 times a week during progress (preferably in the evening hours but not strictly)
I can bring Zerk Revenant (preferably) or Zerk Elementalist if and when needed, both having ascended gear. Can join any VOIP, also can provide my own TS3 server if needed.
Since my main guild is WvW orientated I didn’t defeated any of 3 bosses as of yet but I’ve spend time learning and researching fights online which I always do to prepare. Before GW2 I’ve raided in WoW for 6+ years, from leading and playing all roles to competing for server first kills.

Sadly my game went unplayable after this update. I do have pretty bad PC but with setting on low I could play on 15-20 FPS normally before update and I got used to that kind to gameplay but now after update my FPS is sub 5 even tho I did turn off/adjusted sliders of new camera option as much as possible but nothing helps..
I suppose there is no way to go back to old?
