I’ve had the problem, that I had no ingame sound for a long time now, but now I fixed it for me. I think it will fix the problem for the most of the players so I just wanted to share it with you. I’m gonna type it in short form so u don’t have to read that much. (Sorry for bad english)
1. Go to http://vb-audio.pagesperso-orange.fr/Cable/
2. Scroll down and download the driver
3. Go to your folder where the downloaded .zip file is
4. Extract/Unzip it and open the new folder
5. Run “VBCABLE_Setup_x64” (“VBCABLE_Setup” if you have 32 bit) as administrator
6. Install the driver
7. Go to your audio devices
8. Make “Cable Input” to your standard device
9. Go to your Volume Mixer and check (while gw2 is open) if the scale for gw2 is at 100
10. Make your Headset/Headphones (whatever you use) to your standard device again
11. Go to “Recording” and double click on “Cable Output”
12. Go to “Listen” and tick “Listen to this device” and choose your Headset at “Playback through this device:”
13. In gw2 go to sound options and choose “Cable Input” as Audio device
