I play this game occasionally, I do not see any differences. Add much more &better looking, diverse,…armors, weapons,…my char looks in lvl 50 almost identical as it did in lvl 1!! You have put so much effort on the creation of a beautiful environment, while almost none in charter appearance, even costumes are so bad,…
I have played Black Desert Online (Russian version), it seems to be a very anticipated game in the west, I must say that it has really good graphics – at the expense of a ‘’new computer’’ in the sense that the game is very hardware demanding, for comparison more than GTA V pc, I would say even 8gb ram might be to low to play it smoothly on high settings. Outside of great graphics the game does not seems to offer much to nothing, kinda Tera hardcore version with less content.

‘’Coincidentally, that’s also why AMD cpus can suck balls for GW2.’’
Hmm, Amd Fx 6350;
Can go over 150,…it’s on gtx950,It seems that my processor does not share your opinion.

@Luvok.5697, Beldin.5498,..
No, no, no my overall fps is not 100, I understood fFamous.8720 that 50fps is the max. what he get from GTX 970 which would make no sense. I have Amd Fx 6350 (3,9GHz), 16gb ram. In this game I do not have constant fps, it jumps a lot, even down to 30 in some areas.
@fFamous.8720
I don’t get it, you have with 970 50fps, while I have over 100 with GTX 950, on which settings do you run this game?
I play this game for two months, personally I like the environment in this game, different options to lvl up, but after I have reach now lvl 80, I quess I will play it for 1-2 weeks more, dynamic events are still funny to me, but I have to say, everything else is, huh. I noticed that ’’new’’ mmorpg’s all seems to be kinda rush, rush runners, from 0 to max. lvl in few weeks, with poor char development,unexciting classes… and as an end game is pvp. Fast food games. Years ago I had played SilkRoad Online, a hardcore grinder, but It was crazy fun for a very long time, until the arrival of bots.
I am a newcomer to this game, so far I like this game, it has a beautiful and ’’alive’’ environment and a good method to make progress while exploring a big map. ‘’Random events’’ are also very entertaining, but otherwise – outside of this the game does not seems to offer much as far you do not like pvp. It seems to be like Tera for pve people, which is a short lived fun. Dungeons are in GW2, I have to say a horror, even worst like in Tera, where you also run behind people like a mindless chicken, but at least, you can defend yourself and don’t die on every corner, while in this game – dream on fast food. Also armors in this game or entire visual appearance, not a lot of creativity, lvl 80 armors look almost the same as lvl 10, often I do not even notice if my armor is broken, maybe because i play a ranger, but still. Although I will probably look in 1-2 months when I explore the map for some other game, I would still recommend GW2 to people, it does offer very entertaining way to explore the map.
I agree it is strange marketing for an online video game, I do not know what specifically they want to achieve with this. If they would spend 200.000$ on a smoother gameplay,…given that how many people complain about technical difficulties,… they would get far more in return.
As a complete newcomer to this game, I play this game around a month. I have buy heart of thorns because I had in mind to discover more places, exploring the map, random events,..this stuff is for me the main fun. Before this game, I played f2p games which was in comparison with GW2 – hardcore grinders. So far the game offers to me a lot of fun, even if dungeons in this game, they are the worst which I had see in mmorpg’s.They should give newcomers free gold to visit this horror:d:d. Although to me it seems that GW2 is quite similar to Tera when it comes to longevity for ‘’pve people’’, when you explore the map,..it seems to be (fast) game over with GW2.
If you have a specified budget, I recommend you the Asus M5A97 R2.0 motherboard, It is a cost efficient motherboard on which you can save some money for a better graphic card or other hardware as long you do not have it yet.
So far I have seen lvl 30 & lvl 40 dungeon and I have to say, the dungeons in this game are the worst I have come across in mmorpg’s. In essence dungeons offer to new players
& lower lvl’s – even if they are difficult still a lot of fun, while in this game eh,…horror, not even interested to visit the rest of them.

My computer was US$575 and will run games on at least high settings at 1080P/60FPS for years to come.
Well if you think so, illusions have cool effects.
I play GW2 for a month, if there was an issue with GW2 & Amd processors, well I do not notice them now, again you have an overflood of videos on youtube which show the opposite of what you claim for now, even if Amd processors have few less fps in GW2 as i series, so what? In newer games is the picture different. In your logic I must have problems with GW2, because I use an Amd processor,…. pointless. I do not recommend i series over Fx as long there is no need for an high end computer (i7), for low-mid range computers offer Amd overall better performance for less money. There gives people who buy über expensive Apple computers, no matter that they are buying overpriced hardware, marketing is working well for them.

sad story & arrogant response from GW2 support. I had a similar problem a year ago by some other online video game with Mastercard SmartPayCard (prepaid card), where the Mastercard option payment did not work, regardless that they had written that they do support that payment option. In the end I had no other choice than to look for some other payment option which they had support as Skrill,.., where they had accept SmartPayCard and through them I was able to make a payment. You might also check other online shops for the ultimate version which accept paysafecard.

You speak from your own perspective. Your claims are mostly a ‘’mythology ’’, since all what you have write is depending on your wallet in the first place. Not all people have rich parents or have at their disposal 1000 Euro to spend on a computer which would run new games for a longer time. At the same time is the claim from Feirlista Xv.1425 false that people with AMD processors have problems with GW2. Some people have problems – difference. The same as some people with Pentium i series have problems in GW2, there gives many topics where Intel users complain about low frame rate,..I use an Amd Fx processor, no problems with GW2, the same as you can check 100’s of videos on YouTube from people who use AMD processors and have no problems at all in GW2.
@Fermi.2409, This is the definition of what I wrote, not all have so much money to upgrade their pc’s every year. At the same time if he is thinking about to buy a new computer,rather buy Amd Fx series is cheaper as Pentium i series, you have youtube, check it for yourself what they offer for less money.
I would say that your processor is still strong enough to run GW2 while GW2 seems to use more as 4GB of ram. I have read quite many complains about memory leaks
who have 4Gb ram in GW2. Although the game have a 256 ram graphic card as a minimum requirement, frankly this is simply misleading requirement. You need a better graphic card to run GW2. In so far as your motherboard don’t support more as 4Gb ram, I do not recommend you to buy any new parts for your existing computer but rather save the money for a inexpensive new computer. At the same time keep in mind the possibility of a console, which is significantly cheaper variant for playing new games for a longer time as the constant upgrading of Pc’s to play video games. In essence you do not need a new computer, as long you don’t want to play new pc games on it, probably you can still run Photoshop,…well. A new computer with which you could play new video games would cost you around 500 euro (without a monitor).
I am a newbie. So far I’ve played with a Ranger (longbow), is lvl 30. I also created a wizzard (elementalist), now in lvl 10 and I have to say, so far the ranger was to me way, way more easy & funny to play as the elementalist, it seems everything is with the elementalist much harder & takes longer to do it. I hope the elementalist will become a little bit stronger in the next lvl’s.
I have a GeForce GT 730 2gb DDR3 ram graphic card. I did not notice any difference between 32 and 64 bit client. I get up to 30 + fps, I guess that’s all what my graphic card is capable of, but ok it’s a graphic card for web browsing, running windows, movies,..not for video games.
