The bug would be allowing the items to be sold.

There are a couple of ways to avoid it.
1) Buying only fine and masterwork. The vendor only sells whites.
2) Avoid whites with level requires divisible by 5.
3) Buy the salvage items instead
4) Buy the bags instead (the other items you can end up getting can potentially pay for itself)

1) i’ve started looking at blues. they give me luck and i’ve got 15% more luck through this method.

3) on my server (FoW) they seem more expensive atm. im mainly after cloth and the odd bit of leather, so that might be why
4) tbh i’ve not considered this at all. will look asap as random mats are always nice.

I recently bought 10 of the same item from TP to salvage for cotton scraps. i had just done this on about 10 other seperate transactions, and had got 18 cotton, 4 wool, and 4 linen.

but on these new 10 items, which i bought as 1, it would not let me salvage any of them! other players in LA at the time think its cause someone bought the items from a vendor and then put them on TP.

is there any way to avoid buying items that you cant salvage from TP? cloth crafting materials are expensive, and they dont drop enough from exploring (i have 4 lvl 80’s and 1 lvl 71), so salvaging cheap items on TP seems the best way to get the cloth.

or is this just a bug? and if so how can i fix it cause i have 10 useless lvl 40 basic quality light armor pants now! (reselling on TP prob wont work, they are listed at about 45c each , when i bought them for 5s each!)

i acidently bought 2 Chauncey von Snuffles III’s from the laurel vendor when i meant to buy the one, and the other pet. is there anyway i can return it for the 75 laurels? although i’ve been playing since release, im still very new to the ins and outs of the game so apologies if im missing something obvious.
