Please make the GW2 launcher textbox get focus when prompting for mobile authentication!

Maybe it’s just me, but why is the text box for inputting the mobile authentication not in focus when it shows up? I have to click on it with my mouse then key in my mobile code EVERY SINGLE TIME. While this is not a huge issue, I am quite sure this GetFocus thing can easily be added into the launcher code right?
Come on ArenaNet, lots of people are unable to play this game because of the horrendous FOV. Please allow us to adjust our desired FOV.

Why is it wrong? Please explain to me. Is this somehow preventing you from finishing the puzzle? Can’t you set up your own siege equipment to take them out?
It’s pvp. Think of it as another objective to take. Use arrow carts. Use ballista. Think.
Well, the problem comes when you’re on a server where your side is not dominating. I feel sorry for the ones trying to get 100%, and I have seen some people on my side camp with siege weapons to take out those people not in a group and traveling alone who managed to sneak their way to that jumping puzzle.
I know war’s not fair, but those siege weapons could have been better used defending a keep or something.

My 2 Cents:
Right now HOD is the most organized, beastly server in WvW gamewide.
They have better comms, they consistently get larger organized groups out (large groups of single guilds instead of small groups of many guilds).
So they maul face. So both Stormbluff and Jade are trying to play for second place. More or less accepting that HOD is going to win and trying to knock the other server down out of the matchup.
Really, Jade and Storm should be teaming up to fight HOD. That’s how 3 way matchup realm wars are supposed to work; the weaker teams group up to fight the stronger. This is how it worked in DAOC.
Why isn’t this happening in WvW so far? IMO it’s the matchmaking system. We aren’t “stuck” with our matchups, so we are not given the normal incentives to work together to knock the strongest faction down a peg.
TLDR: Stormbluff and Jade SHOULD be ignoring eachother and both fighting HOD. In DAOC this is how it would have happened. That it’s not happening is a somewhat troubling sign of how the incentives are working in the WvW server matchup system.
This. Believe it or not, HoD has an alliance made up of several guilds including Oceanic ones, and the guilds have allocated timings for each guild to take care of WvW. When other guilds in the alliance appear during another guild’s time slot, the guilds help out each other.
Ever seen a HoD guild harassing dolyaks while another guild builds up a strategic treb to starve out the keep we’re targeting and prevent them from getting supplies for repairs? This is how we roll. So is someone going to tell us that we’re doing something illegal and against the rules?

It happened on Monday. Such fun was had.
Sometimes people just get sick of the zerg fest up top and want some decent small scale PvP that doesn’t involve running around to silly conquest points in sPvP. Siege on the other hand, is completely moronic. Why put siege in the jumping puzzle if you actually want PvP?
To me it’s clearly griefing if you build sieges in the jumping puzzle portions. If you encounter another enemy at the puzzle zone though, it’s free game for both. Whether both of you want to kill each other or work the puzzle will be fair.
ET taking a break next matchup against HoD, called it here folks.

I saw just the opposite last Saturday night. HoD and JQ pummeling SB on HoD borderland. Avoiding each other- not even bothering to contest for any tower/supply/keep that wasn’t SB. About the only time I saw them skirmish with each other was by accident when we were down to one supply camp.
It’s screwed up, but that’s how it goes sometimes. My guild just picked another borderland to work on. The alliances are there… but they aren’t ‘everywhere’… not yet.
When things like that happen it’s mostly coincidences that the two zergs meet at one point, and they don’t wish to engage each other. I’ve seen it happen when a SB and HOD zerg meeting near a keep and pummeling the keep, but not wanting to engage each other.
If JQQ spent as much time organizing their fighting force as they do cooking up convoluted conspiracy theories, they might actually have a shot in the top tier.

See, this is how you play in WvWvW, not post in this forum and whine/kitten about unfairness of organized play. Oh noooo, another server has guilds working together and actually communicating with each other to maximize efficiency against other servers, please nerf.
Why is this moronic thread still going? People still think HoD has an alliance with another server? You’ve got to be kidding me.
Wow. The only valid complain that makes sense in this entire forum. I agree that dead players should not be given any way to interact with the environment which includes looking around.
There is no alliance. Whoever thinks otherwise is just a moron.

Zergs happen in big server matches NEWS AT 11. It’s a natural thing to happen, that’s how wars work. Why the heck is this even a surprise, it happens in any war game.
Step 1: Golems
Step 2: Mesmers
Step 3: ????
Step 4: Profit
I pity da fools who thinks Mesmers are useless, because this is why I love Mesmers.
The issue here is that those who lack coodination are losing to those who are coordinated.
The solution is to stop crying and start organising.

I think all the whining threads in this WvW forum can easily be answered with this post.
Nothing I have read in this thread shows how a Mesmer’s portal skill is an exploit or imbalanced. Isn’t it the fault of your side if you guys do not sweep the keep to check for hidden Mesmers? I’ve always done it with my guildies when we raid a keep to be sure and have caught 1 or 2, and we have gotten into keeps because the zergs just leave a keep after killing everything, then with the right communication we took that place back quickly with the portal.
Now tell me again how is a tactical skill used right an exploit again? So many whiners, but it’s good to see that there are SOME reasonable people here.
My god, this forum has so much QQ all these accusations of alliances being illegal and all that stuff. Why in the first place are alliances illegal? And how does example even show there is some form of alliance? Is there some TOS in Guild Wars 2 that says it’s illegal to have alliances? All these whining really makes me wanna smack my forehead.
So much hurt in this thread. You speak like it’s HoD’s players fault for setting up an alliance to take care of WvW and no one else outside of HoD can do it.
