Guild Wars 2

I mean the game is called “Guild Wars,” so why not promote people to run in guilds in WvW, since you do it in PvE….And I don’t mean like kittenty WvW guild missions that only need like 10 people or less….maybe double that….like 20 ppl or the = to what it is in PvE.

Well, is it possible that I could get an entire name reset as 4/5 of my characters still have the word ‘Nigerian’ in it, and I wouldn’t appreciate being banned ;(

So this week alone I’ve had to change all my characters name simply because they have the word ‘Nigerian’ in it, with accents mind you, like how is that even offensive in any manner, it’s gotta stop can I get my names reset or something cause I’m sick of having change em and am afraid I’m gonna get banned for something so stupid, please it’s not even offensive…

Yep follow my fix ^ above and your problem should be solved with a slight risk to internet safety. Otherwise buy a new router, that seems to be the problem with most people that I have helped. As long as you don’t associate yourself with any cyber criminals then you should be fine with the first option. Thanks for spreading the fix ‘abomally’ hopefully Anet can take a look into this matter and contact the router providers directly to report the problem.

Quick Question Psilo: What router do you use? I would like to know if it is a singular router that causes the problem like mine ‘NetGear D6300’

One ‘World’ Does not simply take a break from WvW, so close to leagues in T1……. Also BG if you call ‘running a main zerg of about 50-60 and a seperate entity zerg of about 30-40 behind them ’taking a break’ in Oceanic TZ then geezus…… JQ and SoR must be on a massive break at the moment……

I have recently seen a lot of people over the forums having the same black screen problem that I recently had, this is nothing to do with the game. If you are getting a random black screen that still allows you to move your cursor around the screen then it is associated with your router.

The solution to my problem was (I found out that the NetGear D6300 router is the causes of my problem), to stop the problem you must:
– go to ‘www.routerlogin.net’ (Or your router login access)
-put in password ‘admin’ ‘password’
-go to Setup> WAN Setup
– tick ‘Disable Port Scan and DdoS Protection’
– Un-tick ’ Disable IGMP Proxying’
– Then reset reboot the router and you should be fine.

This is also a notification to any Anet Staff, as to advise any router providers that have a device that cause this as I have, this can be a serious internet saftey threat and would like to advise anyone taking this information above and using it, to procced at their own risk.

Hope this helps the majority with this problem.

I’ve played for about 5 days now without any problem.

So, this has been happening for over a month and this is the third time I’ve posted about it. My screen just randomly goes black after a period of 10-30 minutes while playing, I don’t get any crash reports or anything, I play on the lowest graphics to get more fps when I’m in WvW and my drivers are up to date and everything. Other players said it was a uPnP conflict but I turned mine off and this still happens, please help, I have no clue whats happening and I would really love to be able to start commanding in WvW again instead of crashing every time and missing a SM cap that I pushed -,-

Also, I don’t receive any crash reports or anything it just goes black, doesn’t freeze my computer or anything, I can window and close it, which is what I have to do to end up closing it.

Hello, recently I have been getting random black screens in game, after about 10 minutes of playing will randomly go black while I’m doing something, the game cursor is still there but I just cannot do anything. Please help, it is extremely irritating, especially when I’m commanding in WvW and it disconnects me leaving everyone following me clueless as to where I have gone…

We ain’t flapping our yaps at you, it was honestly induced by Mag players, as we stated before we don’t want to be in lower teir games we want to fight BG n SoR even if we do lose, it’s not helping us getting ranked down though, because the players get bored and transfer to another T1 server, meaning when we get back in we will just get farmed, hopefully we get moved up again and start having balanced fights with BG n SoR again, you are honestly a great server and yes we do outnumber in SEA but it’s always been so with T1 servers, that’s why we try so hard with PPT, so that we can get moved back up and you don’t have to deal with the bordem of unfair matchups. It works for al of us TA, Us and you. It’s not a fair matchup it’s stupid, lets just finish this matchup n go back to the old, fair WvW matchups.

EDIT: I honestly think the only reason they have been doing these unfair matchups is to find out which servers should be competing against each other for the long run, it’s just a test perioid, well, that’s my opinion anyway.

You can’t really help being outnumbered or outnumbering, pugs follow, sometimes its a good thing sometimes it’s bad, majority of the time we just run 15-20 or less and we don’t usually run from fights when we have those numbers. It’s not really that fun when you absolutely demolish the other zerg, it’s fun when it’s a challange in that genre, I like it when we had a few good fights, it’s definatly noticable that you guys run tight and it’s good when we have open field fights sometimes, but we still like to win, but hopefully we can have a little fun on the field some more

EDIT: Pugs freak out when there isn’t an organized guild that is reasonable sized with em :L

Btw, Mag, I don’t know about the other guilds but when EMP has there daily push which varies from 15-25 players, whenever we see a massive zerg like PYRO, VR, kitten , etc, they have almost 30-50 players with em, outnumber us majority of the time 3/1 yet we still stay and fight. We haven’t won much but we have had a few times when you outnumbered us and many when it was equal so don’t be complaining about us anytime soon.

The only reason JQ couldn’t stand there own against SoR and BG last time is because they would team against us, like quite literally attack the same point at the same time, knock us out and then fight for it.

Ehhhh, why bother, it’s like talking to little children, whatever, kitten all you want, you have the potential to be so much better, but who cares, isn’t changing anything for us, can’t wait till the day they decide to put you up against 2 T1 worlds, you will literally just give up. Anyone can run zergs like you do, but that isn’t how you win, hopefully one day you will learn.

I like how you think we care about winning. You’re literally talking to a different world when you talk to Maguuma and you seem to understand that yet you go on about winning again. No one cares what the bottom of T1 has to say about winning.

I understand, and us being at the bottom of T1 is fine it’s still the challenge that we enjoy, when we win it’s a bonus we can enjoy.

Just a clarification, not all T1 servers play to “win” ppt .

Lot of SoR guilds love the fights more than anything else, if Maguuma or FA ever get against SoR and want to just chill open field and fight non-stop somewhere open field, just ask and you shall recieve.

We have tried to coordinate just non-stop open field fights a few times when we have willing participants on the other side and those nights are more fun than the sieging/defending crap. Everyone just sits with their corner and we meet ruins/south camp over and over in groups of 30.

We do this sometimes too, but we still enjoy playing for World keeps and that’s why we want back in on T1, cause they play for World but we can still have some fun fights on the way.

As I said earlier, our play style isn’t the same as yours, that’s why we want to move back up, so we can fight a world that does the same, I respect that you play for fun, I really do, just don’t hate on us for trying, that’s what we enjoy so let it be, lets just finish this up on a good note and part ways, you can go back to fighting worlds that enjoy GvG we can go back to fighting for the World.

Look seriously, Maguuma, you need to stop your kittening, you are a good team, but you’re hating on Jade Quarry because they play differently compared to your usual matchups. BG and SoR do exactly the same thing, that’s how T1 Worlds play , just because we don’t bash our way through enemy zergs like you do, don’t mean we are bad, I mean seriously we are rank 3 for a reason. Brains Over Brawl buddies, and it shows, yesterday night 8pm server time, small zerg of [EMP] 10-15 n a few pugs stuck on pin, waiting for VR/DERP and PYRO to attack us which they did twice and yes they won the first time because they outnumbered us but the second time we outnumbered them and they fled to the top of Hills (I don’t know all the technique terms for places) and our 10-15 zerg waited directly under them, (outnumbered 3/1) when we moved they decided to pursue us and lose majority of their health to fall damage, making it so much easier for our little zerg to wipe you. That is a demonstration that tactics triumph over just going straight for our zergs like you do, maybe if you guys tried to think it through, you would stand a better chance getting a higher PPT, but then again you don’t care for that do you, but we do, so stop hating and deal with it. Stupid matchup, we didn’t ask for it, we would much prefer to be back in T1, so just drop it, nuff said.

Yeh honestly, I’m sick of Gw2s kitten, I’ve been lagging so much since the update, it can’t possibly be my net because I just reset my monthly plan, everything else works fine, but I can’t run one kittening dungeon without my game freezing from lag every minute!

Yeh I’m having the same problem, I restored my computer twice, reset my internet 10+ times, repaired the game, turned off protection and firewalls, reinstalled my protection, scanned everything and it still didn’t work also my character appears to be wearing crab toss items on the character screen
