Arenanet believes that too many animations could confuse new players so they must be unlocked at level 0…. so far no one has reached that level yet
Newbie downloading the from the disc 1 and 2

Had already contacted tech support at Anet it seems this kind of issue is now intended so the DVD’s will no longer install the data from them and the launcher client will be treated as a digital download client….
Use to be it installs the data (version 1.0) from DVD 1 and 2 then checks for updates and downloads em to reduce time to get into the game once again that is no longer an option
Doesn’t help either that the download speed every once awhile likes to hang around 0.00 Kb/sec >.> guess no playing guild wars 2 for me
Never had that happen before the multiple times I did the install from DVD method and was told to contact my ISP. about the download speed that likes to stall… unless I have the same issue downloading other digital games then I will probably contact ISP but since Guild Wars 2 is the only issue I’m having it’s not worth the hassle contacting my ISP
Ahhhh such precious memories for a game that eventually lost all hope of being worthwhile…. too much temporary / replacement content has plagued this once great game…
It was fun while it lasted but now…. sobs now it’s time to move on
Amazing Grace with bagpipes begins to play
How do they want us to play?..with our wallets of course.
Bingo! It’s all about the money folks.
Yep!
Seems dead to me…………………………………….
My computer will commit suicide if I run the graphics settings like that…
April 30 is the finale for this series

While in a Party taking on map completions I was thinking why Arenanet hasn’t implemented a way for those who discovered a waypoint, vista, point of interest, and/or progress on/finished a heart/task have a indicator on the tooltip to show who has done this and who hasn’t… I find it useful to have this feature added and a way to “filter” out of it if you aren’t interested in seeing that information..
When attempting to help someone to get a100% map completion, you typically just link the wp and/or say “You have/done this one?” over and over again but with this suggestion it will make it easier while in a Party to find out who has done/haven’t done what in each map…
For example: You have the Fields Waypoint in Queensdale but Player #2 in the Party doesn’t. So when the tooltip is displayed when having the cursor over the waypoint icon will displaying something like this “You have discovered this waypoint already but Player 2 has not”
Something similar to that I want implemented in the future for those who like to Party up with other players to do map completions and will take out the need to constantly trying to figure out what others progress in each map…
Tried my best to make sure you understand what I’m suggesting and would like something similar to it to be implemented in a future content patch.
Anyone who doesn’t understand, just ask what you don’t understand about it and I will try to clarify it a bit better…
Doesn’t seem to be an exact trigger on this event. This event is either random or bugged.
A massive one-time event that will change Tyria forever…. is this going to be a “cataclysm” like in WoW
Probably going to keep most of it a secret anyways just like the Halloween update :P
You’d jumped down twice because you were too fast… LOL
Equipping the Devil Horns causes your combat armor to change into your character’s town clothes. Just go into the Hero Panel and you should find the option to switch back. Should look like crossed swords in the middle-top of the panel.
I had this happen as well but only once so far. It occurred when there was lots of players in one area spamming spells/abilities which caused a lot of noise then suddenly the audio stops playing and it kept on making that ringing noise on the left side of my headphones.
While we all wait for the Halloween patch to be released… watch this for a sneak peek http://www.gamespot.com/guild-wars-2/videos/guild-wars-2-first-major-content-update-6398705/
Thank you for the reassurance ReginaBuenaobra.
Thank you…. no… I thank all of you at ArenaNet for making a great game.
Occupy Lions Arch - Or have fun in a DanceMob while waiting for the update!

I knew it!! It was a trick this whole time. :P
Pretty much, yes. On the release page, the phases are periods of time and not necessarily specific times. There are, however, instances of things that only occur once and that’s all I’m really going to say about that. You’ll just have to log in and see.
ArenaNet seems to be very stubborn on spilling the beans about the Halloween event. :P

Let’s hope we don’t need a GW2 version of this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lmsMSQDVPM
