The chak is supposed to have a non-interruptable handler before he dies that clears all conditions and makes him invulnerable so that he can trigger the cutscene. Clearly that handler isn’t actually non-interruptable in all cases. I’ll take a look and get working on a fix.

Do you know when this could go live? I’d like to keep playing the story, I’m really enjoying it!

It’s been suggested to me by support that I disable all startup services in Msconfig. Is this a known working fix or are they just going through their list of troubleshooting? It doesn’t seem like that would help and I would rather not reset my list of auto startup services.

There were about 12 people from FA in the Obsidian Sanctum today and they all let me go through without killing me (Dragonbrand, human female mesmer in purple clothes). I just wanted to say thanks, I really appreciate that. You guys were cool.

People keep talking to him and resetting the cooldown timer from the fight. Please remove it or lower it to like 5 seconds.

Build variety doesn’t exist, or at least not significantly enough. It’s all bows all the time and the skills don’t feel really useful at all. Not enough utility. The utility skills are largely unuseful, and spirits still also aren’t worth using.

Your loss. To quit a great game because the company chose to put it right in the middle of activity peaks for the week is silly.

I’ve tried to enable it for quite a few and I’m not getting emails or anything.

Good to know for now, I’ll have to see if I can track down the zerg.

I seem to have a hard time finding them at all, it seems mostly like it’s just the temples (which almost never pop).

Simples. Anyone found them? I’m thinking probably only from drops, but craftable would be great.

I cleared up my problems by
1) get latest beta driver
2) enable SLI
3) run the game in a window

What size window? I’m using windowed fullscreen.

try running the 306.02 Beta Drivers

i was getting choppy performance all of a sudden yesterday as well as a crash or 2. wasn’t happening before last night. went to the 306.02 and no more crash’s but noticed some frame drops / visual lag, but very very small

and i have the game manage video options, the Nvidia Profile is default

That’s what I’m running, you need them in order to even have ambient occlusion as an option.

I’m running at factory overclock which has been stable for every other game thus far (GTX 680 SC Signature+ by EVGA x2), but would REALLY like to use ambient occlusion… I suppose I could tone it down. It’s so pretty though.

Unfortunately I’m seeing driver crashes anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours into gameplay and FPS will drop to 20 until I reboot the game. Anyone else having a similar issue?
