so will people get banned for this? it’s like when u ask your dad to take 5$ and then u take 25$ instead of 5$ which would get u grounded.
i hope they get banned for 2-weeks and get only 2 rares and 2 exotics
I have sent a support ticket i explained it there i will explain it here as well. So at first i wasn’t having problems the game went just fine,a little lag but im use to it.
After we defeated the karkas in the cave we kept dying and i teleported back to the nearest waypoint,it took me a while more than it does usually.
after we did the cave i mined the rich orichalcum ore and i was really happy since i got 70 silver in 30 sec
.
Then we walked to the ancient karka the ancient was on 60% HP i was really enjoying event and i was really looking forward to it,then i got hit by it and i lost all my hp because everyone was busy fighting the karka and couldnt revive me,i decided to teleport back to the nearest waypoint,i did that and i was stuck at the teleporting screen for quite a while after 5 minutes i left the game and i tried to log back in and i couldnt,tried for a while once every 2-3 minutes,u cant imagine my face when i couldnt log in ! + i have evidence i was there with my guild leader and 2 guild mates if u dont believe me ( in the same overflow+party). greetz

Still haven’t got a reply from the support team, I mean it’s been 49 hours since I made that ticket every 2-3 hours I have been trying to log-in with no success. I hope I get an answer,…

I would have reacted differently if i wasn’t banned on a weekend, and if I wouldn’t wait more than 2 days for my ticket to be answered and my account to be unbanned.

26 hours and the ticket still hasn’t been answered,this is ridiculous…

That means one of two things.
1. Your account was compromised by a gold farmer ( unlikely, given your info)
2. Someone on your account has bought or sold gold. Since you shared the account with your brother, you need to see if he bought gold from any nefarious sites.
There is an outside chance of a mistaken ban, but the above 2 examples are the norm.
Regardless, you would need to submit a ticket to support to appeal the ban.
He hasn’t bought anything he just lvled a warrior to lvl 7 and never played it again…
i only have 9 gold which i earned from farming in the labyrinth… and i have sent a support ticket and it still hasn’t been answered :/ and my friday just got ruined…
You can ask about it and see how if they will release the account back to you. I am just stating why I think you are banned.

1. I think your account is suspended because you shared your account which breach the user agreement.2. The ticket running queue is 24-48 hours so you have to wait for the response. If over three days and still no response then post the ticket number in the “ticket over 3 days for review” sticky thread.
3. I don’t know know if you can even argue it’s wrongful ban since you openly posted that you shared your account info with your brother. Even if you edit that part out I think ANet forum actually keep all the modification done to threads.
So it’s all because my brother played on my account?so that means my account wont get unbanned?

I kind off feel insulted since i haven’t done any gold transactions outside guild wars 2.This must be a total miss understanding i have send a support ticket which hasn’t been answered for 7-8 hours now.I was saving time so i could play today since its friday. My support number is: 121102-001223

I logged into the forums to post from my work Laptop which is on an out of state Network and will kick back with several different IP addresses…Immediately after I was banned for Botting, Third party programs, extended unattended play etc….I see others have had a similar scenario occur. Sounds like If you ping their authentication system with multiple IP addresses you will trigger their security and get banned.
I have also been severly edited by the moderators of this forum who apperently dont like my attitude on the topic of their over achieving security, and slow follow up CS.
Every day that goes by my opnion of Anet gets a little lower…Way to hose your customers and then start running damage control on the forums when someone says something you dont like…This is a joke. A joke that cost me 60 bucks…Anet I hope you can imagine the amount of bad press Im going to hand out for a very long time…and keep black bagging my posts or just suspend my forum rights…Its the only way Ill stop and I cant get into the game I paid for so you might as well double tap me…..
wait u said if someone logs on your account from a different IP anet suspects that you’re doing something wrong? My brother wanted to try guild wars 2,since there’s no trail he asked me if he can play on my account i said yes (he lives in germany) i allowed access so he could play and thats it…

I’m glad i’m not alone, I’ve been getting this error for the past 1-2 hours,and the funny part is I haven’t been using any kind of programs that would help me progress in game or anything of that kind.
I haven’t sold any gold nor bought (goes for items too)
This is strange anet please be careful when banning people that haven’t done anything which would violate the game rules.
I hope i get unbanned as soon as possible.
