My ranger typically has no MF whatsoever and it still finds rares on a regular basis.

I added 22% MF with a consumable and the whole duration all I got was junk, 1 rare, and copper and a few blues. No greens at all. This was during a Fractals run and I can tell you , same difficulty level without any MF would yield much better loot.

As previously stated, 22% is near nothing for MF. A single sample run means absolutely nothing.

Here’s something that has a slightly larger grounds:
When running MF gear (Exo Armor, 4x Pirates, 2x Noble, Omnom Bar/Peach Tart, maybe a few other points thrown in via Guild/Banners/etc) I saw a noticeable increase in Shards of Mist Essense (up to 3 per run, often at least 1) however, once I transitioned out of my MF set for higher fractals, my Shard collection count has noticeably dropped, occasionally 1 per run, only a couple times in over 20 runs have I acquired 2 shards in no MF.

Overall, when leveling from 10-26, I was pulling 2-3 Globs/Mist (Globs in 10-19, Shards 20+) per run on average while in MF Gear. After I cut the MF Gear, 0-1 on average.

That’s is an effect of MF I believe (from what I could tell, people were complaining about never seeing any of those mist drops while I was pulling in several so I believe it’s the MF).

Also to remember, MF is very difficult to statistically show as justified and much easier to say it’s not, such as you have shown. Personally, having played months with 100%+ MF, I’ve seen a positive effect of MF.

Honest question here. Why do you use 4 pirates and 2 noble runes?

Yeah, Im sure we are not the only ones. Its kind of a bummer. We worked against the clock, and the rollbacks to finally be defeated by another rollback.

Lost laurel due to rollback

Hello, I’m not going to set the forums on fire or get mad about this, but I would like to know if there is any solution.

I finished my Daily just before the change of Daily, which comes at 01:00 PM here in Spain. Then, a few minutes later, I get disconnected to character selection, and when I reconnected, I had lost my laurel and the new daily has started.

Since, the problems with the rollbacks are not my fault, and a lot of people has been experiencing then all night since patch: Is there any way I can get my laurel back?

Thanks

Charr Horns - Lets us show them

Hi, im probably going to bring back an issue discused in the past, but as I was unable to find anything with the search engine of the forums, il bring it anyway, and apologize in advance.

The charr has a totally diferent phisiognomy than the other races in the game. Even the asura, with his disctintive features, like ears and “hoofs”? are mostly humanoid.
Im saying this because I understand the added difficulty on modelling armors for them, the charrs.
But, having said that, there is something that, in my opinion, shouldnt be overlooked in this armor modelling process. The horns.

It is kind of frustrating that every other helmet we have in the game clips over our horns or even cover completely our beloved horns. The clipping issue is something I understand is harder to solve, so I wont be touching it. It is the “completely covered” issue that brings me here.

Sometimes, a explanation for this may exist, and we offer our best Okay face. But there are other times, when the horns are imposibble hidden. Magic is my only theory. Im speaking about helmets like Sorrow’s embrace, Crucible of Eternity, or Citadel of Flame.

Here, to clarify some of the issues with my medium armor charr (heavy and light have their own, but I cant preview on them to show you) we can see some armors correctly showing my horns; others like CoF, which cover my horns with what seems like cloth or leather, SE, which cover my horns with a metallic sheet; and the CoE hood, wich can be rationalized thinking the horns are somewhat well hidden in there (depending on the horns).
As a bonus we can see Peacemaker Skrimm griefing me by showing me how the asura can get his soft and malleable ears trought the same hood he wants to sell me.

How do you stack might efficiently?

Disclaimer; this is entirely from an sPvP standpoint
I use might stacking most out of any other build, IMO using FT combined with the rifle allows you to pull off very solid damage.
Here’s my build:
http://www.gw2db.com/skill-builds/2446-alchenaut
At any given moment, assuming I’m consistently switching between FT and Rifle and using my elixirs, both for their own usage and to remove conditions (usually use the toolbelt skills for that) I average around 20 stacks of might or so, but it fluctuates due to the random nature of combat. Hope this helps!

Im really interested in your build, I came up with a similar idea, but I dont usually play PVP, just PVE. So, if I can ask for your advice:

Would you change something of the build for PVE?

Which set of armor would you use?

Thanks in advance

Yes, you can have it. The helmet is Sorrows Embrace light armor.
