I just played a pvp match where the score was 492 to 502 on Forest. Our team comp was full ruby, the enemy team had 3 ruby, 1 diamond, and 1 amber. Although we lost, according to the matrix released by Arena Net, we should not have ever lost any points towards our league rank, no matter the odds that the game generated of us winning.
My Fiancee and I are looking for an active guild of solid PvP players focused specifically on PvP to team up and progress through the season with.

We are in the last tier of Sapphire and don’t think we will have any problem advancing into Ruby when we want to, but we also want to take advantage of this time (no tier loss) to PvP with new people and possible guildies to see if things turn out to be a good fit.

I’m sorry, can you clarify by what you mean by all upgrades will be destroyed? If you change the stats on an (infused) ascended ring, will it no longer be (infused), or will you still be able to include a +10 agony infusion? Are the slots in the equipment still existent or are they destroyed along with the upgrades?

Templar is a small/medium sized guild with a large variety of different people (US, CAN, EU) and has been a gaming community for over 10 years originating in Star Wars Galaxies.
We are closely allied with N00B which is a smaller guild focused primarily on WvW on the NSP server. Templar is often doing PvP, WvW, Fractals, PvE and is aiming to do Raids once they officially release.
