That is a step in the right direction! I love that you make this change THIS year, as well. As many others have suggested over the past couple of days – please consider expanding your festival content in the future!
fix please
i don’t like to have eyes in my back
The newly introduced map completion rewards in Dry Top, Silverwastes and Southsun cove are awarded only once per account, not once per character.
I know this has been going on for a while now – but is has been most notably for me yesterday, that the patchnotes are vague and don’t mention intended changes.
People read the patchnotes and expect them to cover all of the important features.
It is very hard to distinct between intended changes and bugs (that occur in such a high number in the last patches).
E.g.
1. The Necro Axe AA – Changed the whole skill Animation: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/necromancer/Axe-skill-1/first#post5080643
2. Metrica Jumping Puzzle – Moved the Terrain in the 2nd part: http://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/36lo03/change_to_metrica_jp/
3. Quaggans are able to turn – suddenly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Wh8Spfg964
4. Changed the reward chest Interface – proof not yet included
There are more for sure; you may add any you have found.
I would like to see more accurate patchnotes in the future, as they help to stop confusing the community. If you encounter something new, you will always have to wonder if this is a bug or a feature. A little more clarity in this regard would reduce the ammount of bugthreads accumulating after each patch, which would set the focus more on the unintended changes that were made, while opening up the intended changes for discussion and feedback.
Could you elaborate on the reasoning behind this decision? Additional information wont hurt anyone. While i understand that the archives can contain partly outdated information, i do not see why players (new & experienced) should not be able to view earlier discussions on topics and content, which enriched the forums.
