Guild Wars 2

Yep just hit lvl 80 for the first time and I need a little guidance on how to gear. I want to run with a dps type build. Currently I’m running a 25/10/0/30/5 symbol dps build that I kind of put together and really like. I run it with a great sword and staff right now. Where do I go for my starter gear? What gear is enough to start fractales. I just need some general guidance on what to do now that I’m lvl 80.

If you guys have some build suggestions I would love to hear them as well.

Is it possible to use the longbow exclusively and only switch to sword when in melee combat. I would like to sit back and shoot with my bow and not just use the bow for a small bit then mainly switch to swords.

I want to make an archer. I may make a ranger however I’m not really into the whole pet deal. I can work with it but I want to know if the longbow warrior is any good in dungeons, WvW, and spvp.

I will probably run with a sword/warhorn in the other weapon slot. Any information will be much appreciated.

I don’t have a fancy gaming mouse or keyboard. I have never done keybinds before so what is a good basic setup for a noob? I am playing an elementalist if there is a specific setup for them.
