Experience with thief: Experienced GW2 player. (2k hours total) 400 hundred hours on D/D thief however I am now wondering why I never mained thief to begin with. Love the class.

I was running a build very similar to the hybrid BM inspired by this build of course.

I left my build as it was after the patch but ultimately I couldn’t decide between pet swap quickness and natural regen both of which make this build so good.

Along with the SB range nerf and pet damage nerf(interestingly the pet dmg nerf I was most concerned about yet didn’t actually break the build for me) I am currently trying a few different variations but in the end I will most likely drop BM altogether

I have to agree. This is one nerf I didn’t take much notice of when I read the patch notes(mostly due to the fact I was more concerned about SB range) but when in wvw this annoys the living kitten out of me. I loved sending in my stealthed assassin to take out. a dolyak or some siege.

Now its:

Pet is too far from target
Pet is too far from target
Pet is too far from target

Pet is…….oh wait pet is now dead because 30 points in BM is a waste and you don’t run it anymore.

Exaggerated of course but I think you get my point. In PVP its justified but it translates to a pain in the kitten in WvW.

So Im nearly ready to craft my legendary howler. Just need the icy runestones and the precursor howl.

I have the gold ready to go for an order……Wtf? Howl is now 40g more expensive than usual.

Anyone know why the price has spiked so quickly? Seems to be usual qty available.

Now im not sure if i should wait and hope my buy order fills or get in now just in case it goes up again?

^^ This. Best suggestion for elixir s nerf yet. still viable just gotta change the order. Genius.

Just after some current info on where all the Australian players have chosen as home server?

I plan to be on most nights but dont want to have issues finding groups and problems with lag etc. Playing from east coast daylight savings time.

Any input is appreciated.
