Apologies, my mistake. It seems that you have to get the base expansion first, then you can do an upgrade after if you wish. I wish those were the prices instead.

It seems like you can purchase Heart of Thorns expansion in the gem store, I was hoping we would’ve been able to get it at a cheaper price.

Seems like you can get the base expansion at $50 then do an upgrade for $25 and $50 for the Deluxe and Ultimate Upgrades respectively.

Wouldn’t it be better if you allowed the people who owned the core game to just pay for the upgrade and skip the base expansion payment. I’m sure there are many others like me who supported this game through the gemstore and would appreciate getting differentiated from new players who are going to just join the game by providing us with a discount.

I’ve been having problems patching the client so I uninstalled Guild Wars 2, re download the client and now currently stuck on the launcher with 0 KB/sec. If you guys have any advice or ideas to help me with this. Please let me know. Thanks

Another thing I think this suggestion can do is make server politics come into play more. Moreover, the gap between PPT will most likely lessen because it always reset so every mini-match is a fresh start so even if for example Server A dominates Server B and C by thousands of points on the first mini-match, the PPT gap would not carry on the next mini-match which will motivate Server B and C to try harder for the next mini-match.

McWolfy.5924: This suggestion is not meant to address the coverage problem. It is meant to lessen the 7 day PPT coverage advantage of servers and to make matches more interesting. I’m pretty sure you’ve experience a week where the other servers just totally dominate you and create such a huge gap that the rest of your server just gives up because it is impossible to catch-up.

Johje Holan.4607 Your calculations are spot on. This would mean that every week the reset timings will stay the same. And being mostly a SEA player myself, I would love to experience reset nights more which is why I hope this suggestion could get some attention. I’ve joined my fair share of reset nights for my world but I would always have to wake up so early so sometimes I don’t make it. I think having more resets in a week match-up would make WvWvW more interesting.

The idea actually started from LouDiamond.5381. Credit should be given to him too. I made just a few alterations.

I would like to suggest that the WvWvW week cycle stay the same but they would introduce a new system within it which is mini-matches.

Mini-matches are 42 hour shifts of WvWvW where the next match up would “Reset”
This introduces a “reset experience” for every major timezone: Na – Eu – Sea – Ocx.

Moreover, this mini-matches would keep track of who has the most PPT for that corresponding mini-match and who has the second most and the least. Then award them with a point system. 5 points for the server with the most PPT for that mini-match, 3 points for the second highest and 1 point for lowest.

Then the winner of the WvWvW match-up would be decided by the sum of the points from the 4 mini-matches.

This system would make the WvWvW match-up more about who wins those mini matches than the 7 day coverage PPT. This deters players from giving up the match-up on the later part of the week and keeps everyone on their toes to try and win every mini-match.

I put my divinity on 2 berserk + 4 PVT gear, but I believe my other armor set for boon duration is better IMO.

Do you mind sharing with me your armor set for boon duration?

My PVT gear has dolyak runes, and my Knights has ruby orbs. I don’t really want to switch to boon duration on either of those. I use knights in staff mostly as I don’t have a zerker set.

People need to test the runes out in spvp as it is free to do so. The last time I tried divinity it felt like a waste of better options. In spvp you can get away with full zerkers a lot of the time. In wvw you cannot. The culling is one of the main reasons. And increased targets and siege fire are the others. Plus, your hp is like 13k in zerkers. Divinity runes are 8g each right now and so not worth it. At least not for an ele. Just my opinion. I don’t do spreadsheets like some of these guys on the forum.

If you want full glass you’d be better off with Eagle or Scholar than Divinity.
And honestly I still think Boon Duration far outweighs any amount of Crit Damage on any ele build, especially with how easily we accumulate Might. You can get enough CD from gear, jewelery and food that losing it in runes won’t weigh you down at all.

Thanks for your input but I was planning a more balance/all around build. I’ve actually decided to utilize my divinity runes because I already have them. What I’m uncertain of is which armor to apply them to.

Hi Everyone! I was just wondering if I could get your opinions on which armor should I apply my Superior Rune of Divinity Set. I’m still working on my build but I’m more of a staff user. I’ve been contemplating on whether to apply it on a Knight or Berserker armor set. Any thoughts?
