Great read. I’m still a baby, only lvl 15 right now and just bought the game couple of weeks ago, sadly the constant d/c making it hard for me to lvl on a constant basis. It’s been a blast playing the class, running staff, sword+focus or GS when the mobs are higher lvl and I can’t afford being hit.
I take it this is a more lvl 80 build rather than a lvln build?
Since i’m stubborn, could I lvl with this? If so where should I start putting points into for traits? Hopefully Anet can start w/some fixes w/these d/c’s b/c I really do enjoy this class.
And off-topic, does anyone know where to find the combo finisher list on what each field does when you apply a finisher? Thanks =)
Still getting d/c, now i’m even getting the error on the loading screen, which then forces me to force quit the game b/c i’m stuck on the loading screen.
The game was running flawlessly for me Monday, I played for 5hours total throughout the day and no d/c or error does. I could see who was online in guild, talk to people in guild chat and sell things on the trader, got to lvl 14 finally. But sadly since Tuesday, the error codes are back and today I played 10mins and non stop d/c every time I try to get back on.
This is seriously frustrating, I don’t like to complain, but y’all need to come out with a fix or say something is wrong.

I get this same exact error. I’m the only online in guild, or sometimes it says I’m in guild but 1/1 on the roster. I also get error code 7:11:3:189:101 on top of that so I get d/c’d soon after that box poops up that says can’t connect to log in server blah blah blah. 2 days in a row I was able to play, just got that box pop up of can’t connect to log in server, but now I get that and right after pressing ok i get 7:11:3:189:101 and immediate d/c from the game.
Been happening since I bought the game a week ago. Very bad intro to the game for me. lvl 10 thf and lvl 1 mesmer, can’t even decide which to play b/c I can’t stay logged in.
I’ve been getting this error too. Not sure what to do, usually when I get this error it means i’m gonna get d/c soon.
Still getting the same error code. I was able to play for awhile yesterday, and today can’t even play for a minute, i get insta d/c. I did get my thf to lvl 10 from 3 lol. But, at this point there has to be a fix or something. Getting ridiculous the times I want to actually be inside and play I can’t b/c of the constant d/c.
Thought it was fixed for me. Was able to play an hour last night, and and hour today w/o any d/c. But once I closed the game, left to do some errands, came back 30mins later and now I can’t even play.
I keep getting the error code 7:11:3:189:101 non stop now. Can’t be something on my end if I was able to play last night and this morning no problem, come back log in and can’t even stay in game for more than 1min b/c I get d/c non stop.
Frustrating…..
I’ve been getting that lately too, and usually get an immediate error code of 7:11:3:189:101 once I press the OK button to get rid of that error code 42:….
Same thing here, I looked at my guild list and my email is there next to my name. Not sure if it’s related.
There was one time, I had horrendous lag, and thought I was going to d/c with the 7:11:3:189:101 code, I couldn’t move my character, ingame sound was still on, I could still use my mouse, I could type in guild chat, select the menu tabs on the top left corner, but my toon was frozen fighting a mob.
This game is very frustrating, as I’m able to play other games AOC, SC II, BF3 and no problems whats so ever. Just bought the game last week and still stuck at lvl 3 b/c this game is unplayable. Please a fix or some acknowledgement that something is being done.
Both my wife and me were fine – we logged out of the game last night with no disconnection issue at all, ever.
Now both of us are experiencing disconnection in every 3-5 minutes from this morning, same error code. And there was not even a patch overnight…
Edit:
One more thing we both noticed: instead of our forum name we see our email ID in-game. This has never happened earlier either, I’m not sure if this is any way connected to the disconnection issue.
Any fixes coming anytime soon? Constant error codes, haven’t been able to play the game since I’ve bought it, still only lvl 3 due to not being able to stay logged in.

I bought this game 5 days ago and i’m still only level 3 b/c I can’t be logged in for more than a couple of minutes, and most times I d/c with in seconds of logging in. I get this error code 7:11:3:189:101 every time. I don’t know what else to do, it’s frustrating trying to play this game, and can’t b/c I get d/c every time. The most I ever played was 10mins then got the same error code.
Server JQ, and getting d/c at all times pacific.
A fix would be appreciated, as I am not the only with this problem, I’m surprised there is no official statement that there is a problem instead of the generated this must be on our end response. I really want to like this game, but @ this point, I feel like I wasted money.

Same here. Just bought the game 2 days ago. 1st day no problems, decided to re-roll didn’t like Guardian, re-rolled a Mesmer and been stuck @ dream sequence for 1 day now, b/c I get d/c every 15secs. Once I get on the bridge before the boss that gets you out of the dream is when I get logged out everytime.
Love the game, just wish I can play it, being stuck @ lvl 1 isn’t so fun lol.
Oh and here is my diag. note. Please get this fixed. I’ve tried all the troubleshoots out there and nothing has fixed this problem.

I just bought the game 2 days ago, 1st day I log on, play for hours no problems. Now I can’t even play for more than 10secs w/o getting this error. It’s pretty annoying. I don’t know what to do. I’m regretting buying this game if this error has been going on for months and no fix.
