My rig was custom built by my brother. He’s a bit of a savant when it comes to computers, built mine when he was sixteen. But I am generally illiterate when it comes to computers. I know I am above the minimum specs for the running of Guild Wars 2. Yet I cannot sustain a solid fps range, usually amid the 6-15 average. I just don’t get how my computer cannot run GW2 consistently well, or at all for that matter. All other games my system runs perfect. But even with the lowest settings set GW2 doesn’t run efficiently. The biggest problem stems from camera operation. Every time I pivot the camera it drops my fps and it acts as though it’s lagged. Help me please. I’m a decent player but no one can counteract an utter inability to see what’s going on real-time in-game.
FPS issues, low average range, please advise.

Here are my system specs.
Graphics Chip-set: ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series
Operating System: Windows/7xp
Graphics Bus Capability: PCI Express 2.0
Memory Size: 2815MB
Core Clock in MHs: 700MHz
Memory Clock in MHz: 1150MHz
I’m not computer savvy so I do not know what else to post. But my driver is updated at 13.1.
In game I’m lucky to achieve an fps range amid 12-20. In major player traffic it drops greatly. One of the primary problems entails pivoting my camera vertically or horizontally which causes significant drops in my fps to the 2-6 range.
Please advise as to what other data need be provided as to grant clarity for an answer that may help resolve my issue. For example, any recommendations as to the purchase of a new graphics card or anything of the sort would be greatly appreciated.
