Maybe one solution could be for CM to reward a legendary insight per week in addition to the normal one. The dedicated could get 20 insights a week.

Samarog CM will be the last raid related AP I need once I finish Envoy’s Herald title in 2 weeks. Groups have been so rare for this CM in particular at the times I look. I’ve even considered trying to buy a CM kill just to get it done.

I was affected by the bug. Everyone in my raid group has been given compensation except me. Indeed one of the earlier posters in this thread was in the group. Why have I not been given the compensation Anet and had two tickets rejected? If the rest of the group is eligible then surely I must be as well. I have spent hundreds of pounds on this game and now I feel totally unvalued as a customer. I won’t be spending any more on the game since obviously I do not seem to matter.

I’d like to join. 28.4k AP. All classes with full ascended armor, trinkets and all weapon types. I have beaten Vale Guardian as DH tank but yet to try Gorseval.

Since the changes I’ve actually got MORE ascended drops. Getting 4 ascended armor chests, 3 of them Raiders, from doing ‘Daily Fractal Master’.

It may be ISP related. I’m in the UK and on my previous provider Orange between 2013 and early 2014 I would often get prime time lag and stuck on waypoint loading screens. For some reason only Guild Wars 2 traffic was being wrongly restricted. I eventually tried using a VPN and it was a night and day difference – game would be unplayable without it and work perfectly fine and smooth with VPN. I changed to BT Fibre shortly afterwards and it’s been fine since. See if you can find a trail VPN service and test it next time the extreme lag occurs.

Hi. I’m looking for guild mission only guild (or one that has public missions and/or needs extra help) that preferably does the missions on a Sunday evening on EU servers. I know what to do on every challenge, rush and puzzle. My regular guild does missions on a night I am often out and the mission only guild I was using on Sundays is disbanding.

I’m on EE (which uses a BT landline) and have had to use a VPN starting a few days ago to play the game during peak times. Without VPN maps will not load, characters get stuck and there is horrendous lag. Using VPN to hide the data and bypass the restrictions it runs fine.

Lions Arch, Dungeons and WvW – only with some of my (longer named) characters.

Problems are character specific for me!

Oddly seems to affect my alt characters with longer names. While my main Guardian character with hundreds of hours play is perfect with nearly no lag or disconnect issues ever.

Problems include:
Getting stuck on Lions Arch loading screen for hours.

In dungeons skill delays occur all the time and I get out of sync with the other players. I see them fighting, but in reality they are further on in the dungeon. Changing to my main character with shorter name fixes the issue and dungeon then works.

Sometimes I’ll get a ghost town version of Lions Arch or WvW for example where I can wander around but cannot interact with vendors etc or people until I get disconnected.
Weird that only the longer named characters are affected. I’d even consider a name change if it fixed the problem!
Very frustrating when I want to play an alt for variety and I absolutely dread a story mission in Lions Arch.
