While i understand that some have thought this system will have positive effects on the game i tell you this.

When i log in after 2 days and the 1st item i’m trying to sell gets the message “Error attempting to sell” them im kittened. I’m “certain” this has to be a kitten bug
so i report it here so please fix it also.

Why not reward older players that way:
Magic find increases precursor crafting chance until the 1st precursor or after the 1st one is obtained it is disabled for some time.
Etc 100% MF means 1% higher crafting chance and 300 MF means 3% higher crafting chance. The numbers can vary but you get the idea.

Mounts in every way possible. Like a mini etc that you can have only 1 active at any time and can make a collection. Asuran hoverboards, Charr Motorcycles, etc. then usual mounts like horses beasts and magical beasts and maybe a special LW ride like Queen Jenna or smth :P

To add to what Bruno said, all engineers are using charr technology because of how effective it has proven to be. The designs are actually charr designs. Charr tech is new to the asura (as well as all the other playable non-charr races) and we see in the Black citadel that there are asura who can’t grasp the concept of complicated machinery that doesn’t rely on magic. So asura engineers are actually pioneering asura study of non-magic technology.

Yei for me used almost exactly the same reasoning when creating my 1st GW2 char 1,5 years ago at launch An Asura Engineer pioneering in that field.
and maybe later will create an Asura College of non-magic reliant technology but i guess i wont be doin that in the game ever
