Guild Wars 2

Hey there fellow Tyrians!

I’m Xan, GW2 streamer and gaming mentor, and tonight I’m having a little event over on my stream. I would’ve posted about it WAY farther in advance, but the forums have been temperamental lately.

Tonight, January 26th, from 6pm EST (US Eastern time) onward, myself and several friends are going to be on stream together hosting a Mentoring Night. Some people from our group of friends who didn’t used to play just recently got into GW2, either for the first time, or returning from a very long hiatus. So with that being said, and in the wake of the massive weekend sale, AND with HoT on the horizon, we’re putting in some extra effort to welcome any new or returning players.

Myself and the other veterans will be hanging out in Skype with a few of our newbie friends to show them the ropes, get them through their first few levels, and do whatever we can to make the experience fun and insightful. While we do, we want to extend that sentiment to the rest of the community. Anyone else who’s in the same boat (or any other veterans who want to join in the mentoring) are welcome to join us in stream chat, ingame, or both to tag along for heart quests and world events, get help with story missions you might be stuck on, ask us questions, and anything else we can do to help (aside form begging for money, let’s keep it reasonable, guys).

So mentors and newbies alike, feel free to join in! A link to the stream is in my signature. We play on the U.S. server Ehmry Bay, so if your home server is different, make sure to add me to your contacts and join on me so you end up on the right map! See you guys there!

Hello Gw2 Community!

I’m Xanesh, or Xan for short. I recently decided to break the ice and give livestreaming a try, and came here looking for a little bit of critique, and maybe a few potential viewers!

I’ve been playing on the Ehmry Bay server since beta, maining Guardian and Mesmer (and Necro, to some degree). I spend most of my time WvW roaming, occasionally zerging with my guild Infinite Woes [Woe]. I’m a huge theorycrafting nut, always looking for people to share ideas with, and builds to try. I’m always open to new ideas and suggestions, especially from viewers. I want to do the best I can to teach those who are newer than me and looking for guidance, but also always be on the lookout for new things to learn myself. You teach me, I teach you. Po-ke’-mooooooon~!… Sorry, had to.

So, if any of that sounds appealing to you guys, hop on in and say hi! If you like what you see be sure to follow me, and spread the word; the more the merrier! If not, let me know what I’m doing wrong! No, seriously, as long as it’s civil and constructive I’d love to know how I can improve. Also be sure to check out my YouTube channel for VODs and highlights from the stream, as well as build guides and other fun informational stuff coming soon. Regular stream time is from 6pm till 8mp EST, unless I feel like going later. Tonight’s stream will be starting in just a few minutes (running later tonight).
