A Mesmer does NOT have to target anything. They just get close to the wall, NO TARGET SELECTED, then use the ability. The games “Auto Target Feature”, will choose the nearest available target to send the spell at. This is often Siege or players behind the wall repairing it. So many things are wrong with WvWvW, this is just one of many.
I’m a condition thief with evasion build. I solo fully upgraded camps all day long, killing every single NPC. Even when the Dolyak spawns with the 2 Vet guards escorting it on top of the upgraded Camp guards, I can still take it.
The ONLY time a camp is a challenge for me, is when the nearby NPCs are sitting in the camp as well defending it. (Hyleks/Dredge/Ogres/Quagans). The only reason those make it challenging, is the sheer number of NPCs to kill in order to clear out the capture circle. Some usually start respawning before I can get the last killed, or some players show up.
However a non-upgraded camp, I can kill off in about 30 seconds.
Yeah, so if you can drop Siege and others can pick it up, why cant you trade it through your own bank to your other characters?
I collected Siege, a lot of siege. I would like to play some alts and allow them to use my Siege but it is all soulbound. What is the need for that really? You can just buy it, you can TRADE the item you use to buy it… just wondering.
Makes more sense for Siege to be Account bound or not bound at all…
This ranking system is worse than the BCS…
Don't remove the Orbs, just swap the Orb buff for the Outmanned Buff.

Leave the orbs.
Swap the Outmanned Buff for the current Orb buff. If you are few in number and trying to establish a foothold or one of the few last standing defending, that player should be rewarded for their heroism.
Give the Orbs the +MF/Karma/XP that make them interesting but not that important for WvWvW.
Also make sure to kill off all the Botter balls in the lakes killing Kraits.
I am an OP thief.
I came across 7 bad players, I am a very good thief, so I attacked them.
I attacked effectively, and put all 7 of them into “downed state”. I was unable to kill them all off, because they were throwing balls of crap at me from “downed state”, using vanishing moves, knockbacks and healing themselves.
This is dumb. I should have been able to give them all perma stat loss and loot thier corpses… then eat them.
I killed the MK without even zoning in, just sent him up the bomb.
