Like they said, it seems a number of puzzles that can’t use gliding to circumvent the puzzle itself don’t disable it— CCC a particular example, and many many vistas. The flip side to this is that certain areas seem disable gliding OUTSIDE of the puzzle— I’ve fallen to my death jumping off of a cliff outside of Fawcett’s Bounty because of that.

The mouse wheel click is a good idea, if one that I would personally have a hard time adapting to.

I assume there wasn’t one from the start because they didn’t want people to disable it in HoT maps and forget, but now that there’s gliding in central Tyria as well, it really just doesn’t make sense to not allow toggling. Falling is just an inherent risk of the game; live and learn and remember to turn it back on next time.

I’m sure this has been brought up many times before, but it feels worth underlining after today’s daily of Chaos Crystal Cavern.

I’ve been really glad to see jumping puzzles added to the daily categories, but the glider being automatically deployed every time the spacebar is held a fraction too long is making it extremely difficult to make precision jumps.

It’s all well and good to disable it for puzzles in which it could be used to circumvent the path, but that does nothing for those that arbitrarily keep it on, or vistas that require the same level of coordination.

Just a simple toggle would work wonders.

So, neither of these are incredibly insurmountable, but my anniversary just passed in not so amazing circumstances, and I’d really like to be able to gift my fiance a Celestial or Shadow Abyss dye, and/or some deldrimor ingots to craft an ascended greatsword (he needs six at the moment).

And though I kind of hate asking for anything for myself, I would love some gold to be able to put toward purchasing Howl, or even the precursor itself if anyone is feeling incredibly generous. NA player

Just unlocked the boots on my Guardian without realizing this— while the skin is still available, of course, I was hoping to be able to use the pieces to fill out my first Revenant’s armor set, as this character doesn’t need the actual armor.

It’s easy to overlook and seems counterintuitive, so please fix this!

Aside from that, I really want like to be able to help my partner afford the Mini Gwynefyrdd this year. He opened countless ToT bags last year when it was only a rare account-bound drop with no luck, and now that she can be purchased with cobs we’ve been spending as much time as we can trying to farm them up, but it’s slow going.

He’s currently at 29/100 cobs. If anyone could help out and send a few my way, I’d be incredibly grateful!

I was in Ascalon Catacombs p3, in the middle of fighting the spider queen, when all of a sudden I was kicked back into Plains of Ashford… And found myself in a completely different party.

I have NO idea what happened and I’ve never encountered this before. Has this happened to anyone else??

What else would possibly be a requirement, in that case? We play together, and it just happened again— Both went to Shatterer at the same time, fought next to one another, got participation credit. I got loot, he did not.

I’m not sure of the exact timing since our last run, but it’s at least been nearly a full day since, and without question after the last reset.

I know he’s filed bug reports, but I suppose at this point contacting support directly would be worth trying.

Oh, I’d missed that response. Thanks! An ETA would be nice, but I’m glad to hear that it’s slated to come back at all.

Making it permanent is really the best course of action they could take, even if it’s not added onto but once a year or some such.

Verdict’s been most the same with everyone who actually cared about it— extremely frustrated by their “yes but no” waffling and lack of transparency, and no real answer regarding whether or not the Box ever will come back.

So I have to ask, both of ArenaNet and if anyone knows if there’s been anything said on the matter:

If it doesn’t return in the foreseeable future, will they ever implement the chance to redeem King Toad/Storm Wizard tokens that weren’t turned in? A way to purchase the last remaining token of a set in some way would be nice, although I wouldn’t hold my breath for a second.

Will they be offering refunds to people who spent money on Infinite Coins?

Update: Another friend was also having this issue. Resizing, and then re-resizing the window, seemed to fix it temporarily, but it came back after logging out and back in, and has persisted since.

Lately, myself and my partner have been noticing some odd mouse-related lag while playing— Camera rotation seems slow and jerky, regardless of rotation speed setting, and dragging items from the inventory now significantly lags behind the position of the cursor.

He just updated to the latest NVIDIA driver (344.48 I believe), but I do not have an NVIDIA card and the one I do use has not updated recently, so I don’t believe it’s related to that.

Has anyone else encountered this?

During Claw Island in particular, Trahearne likes to port around and interrupt himself a lot, if you don’t wait for his dialogue to finish.

This has likely been brought up before, but while I understand the price increase to 1000 gems now that they are account bound, I still can’t personally justify spending that much when something intended for convenience is still so clunky to have to swap between characters.

Perfect solution? Make them part of the wardrobe system, just like finishers and minis now are. Just my two cents, but if we were able to equip them to our active character on the fly without having to worry about making sure to first get them off another and put them in the bank, I’d very well allow myself to spend that money.

After no trouble for at least a few months, path 2 seems to be bugged again— Detha will not trigger the event in the Hall of Champions, also did not seem to properly play dialogue in the trap room.

The “Defend the sylvari tower from the Risen” event seems to be bugged on Maguuma, it’s been stuck at 5/7 Risen waves defeated for at least a couple of days now.
