Not sure who it was since I am posting on behalf of my friend, but probably is based on how many are complaining about this Lance person.

And asking to have more patience is not going to cut it.

Quote from Sept. 7th State of the Game:
“We’re resolving prioritized hacked account tickets within 72 hours.”

Why is my friend’s ticket still not resolved well after 72 hours? He got this canned response instead. Does this mean he will have to wait several more days for further help since he already got a “response”?

Bumping this post and will keep doing so until this is resolved.

My friend received an automated response to his ticket after waiting for several days. The response directed him to the self help tool which is useless to him because the email address on his account was changed by the hacker. He explained this in the ticket.

Why this careless response? He has updated the ticket again. How much longer will he have to wait for someone to take a serious look at his ticket instead of just pasting in a canned response without reading it?

My friend got an automated reply to his ticket referring him to the self help tool.

He can not use the self help tool because his account was stolen and the email address on his account was changed.

He has waited for days and this is the response you give? A useless, careless response?

I wanted to add my friend to this thread. He was hacked several days ago and his account name got changed so he can’t post for himself.

The self help also won’t work because his email address says no account is associated to it. He has been waiting for days, please someone assist him. I would not like to see him leave the game over this issue but he seems to be at the end of his patience.

We have been customers of blizzard and other large mmo developers and ArenaNet has been by far the slowest. I play TSW and the longest I have had to wait for response by Funcom was 4 hours.

Please help him out. I have been lucky to not be hacked, but this situation has made me lose confidence that Arenanet would be able to assist me in a speedy manner should I ever need it.

It has been several days now and is becoming extremely frustrated with the situation and considering abandoning the game and seeking a refund if he does not get a response soon. He only got to play about 1 hour and his character was only level 3 when he lost control of the account.

My friend’s account was hacked a few days ago and his account email address changed and now can’t log in to post due to his email not be associated to an account. He submitted a ticket but has not received a response and asked me to post here on his behalf.

His account was hacked on the same day he started playing. He only got to play about 2 or 3 hours.
