What do you all suggest the size of gig the card should be?

What card works best with GW2?

Here’s a stupid question…are there more traffic (players) in the area now vs. before? More population around and active, possible lower fps…

Did you connect your other computers to GW2? If so, how was that connection?

If their connection is fine, it’s something with that one computer and/or computer setting and not ANETS servers.

i5 or i7…..I’m still torn between the two intel processors.

Any chance you guys will be selling a poster size map of Tyria? I would love to frame it and hang it on my wall in my computer room.

Also any plans to put out more items in the store like shirts and things?

7970 will run GW2 very well, he is just saying GW2 won’t utilize it fully. Nothing wrong with that. The card will actually run cooler since it doesn’t have to work at 100% load.

Looks pretty good, great deal on the hs 7970 btw, those 3 are awesome games and will do much better use of that videocard than GW2. Thumbs up for that build!

SSD is much faster. OS/Apps will launch quicker. Won’t have to worry about fragmentation. Overall snappier desktop experience.

Tested on my i5-3570K system.
From desktop launch to Lion’s Arch map load.

Samsung 830 SSD = 12s
Seagate 3TB (defragged) = 35s

Hmm, so does that mean the SSD would replace the HDD altogether or can I combine them?

I took your advice on the i5-3570k. With a closer look, I wouldn’t even need the hyper threading.

Looks fine.

If gaming is your only purpose and don’t use things that utilize hyperthreading a 3570K would be better. Save about $100, and put that towards the purchase of a SSD.

What exactly does a SSD do and is it a must to have?

Same here. This is really really anoying.

I’m having the same issue. I’m thinking it could be my sound card, but my audio is fine with any other game and personal music.

Anyone know a fix? I have windows 8 btw.
