Having all boons while invuln is almost a waste, clearing conditions isn’t really something that guadians need considering they can already do it in so many ways, and conditions aren’t even that problematic if you know how to avoid them.

AoE 3sec burn isn’t anything to turn your nose at when it makes your entire spin do 10% more damage to all mobs around you.

I find that ToC is much more useful. A: 90sec cooldown isn’t spammable, and usually pulling a group out of a really tight spot with quick heals and protection on a bossfight makes things go easier. I run with premade groups usually though and the only time we are having trouble is when something randomly goes terribly wrong and burst healing is the key to saving the situation and turning it around. shrug

But that said, the runes still work really well with Renewed focus for popping it quicker and doing way more dps while invulnerable and up in the face of the mobs.

It’s 5secs of haste and and roughly 10secs of burning every 90secs. And usually when you hit 20% hp you’ve already dodged a few times I’ve found and you’re on your last leg to survive. Iunno, seems redic good to me. I just can’t find anything else that seems like it would be as useful.

If you hit a 5sec quickness and then popped ToC you would NOT die lmao… throw down passify, a few smaller heals, and then 2.5sec full heal for the whole group. Point is, the quickness effect plus the other stats on the runes as a whole is a slam dunk in my opinion for a more damage-oriented guardian build.
It even gives 3.45 more seconds of burning that you can stack on more to if you use the 10% more damage to burning targets.

I honestly think they’re even better for dungeons o_o Having quickness when you’re low…
Just think… get under 20%, pop heal or if you don’t have heal, pop Tome of Courage and superheal whole group while under quickness

Now that the they fixed the quickness buff on these runes… is it just me or are these extremely good for guardian now. Like pretty much the best runes for guardian damagey builds.
When you hit 20% hp you just use the quickness to heal and then have like 4secs left to wreck things with like 4-5 mobs on you with NO DOWNSIDE to the quickness. Plus it aoe burns when you use your heal? GG.

Any thoughts?

Fractals of the Mists

ArenaNet’s Colin Johanson briefly introduced the brand-new dungeon as one that gets more challenging the farther in you go. Conventional wisdom would suggest that that’s nearly always the case, but Johanson left out a key detail: In the Fractals of the Mists dungeon, you can go indefinitely farther in.

The Fractals of the Mists is made up of nine mini-dungeons, each with its own story and environment. A party of five will enter the dungeon and be faced with a random set of three of these dungeons at a time. Upon completing those three, the party will be transported to a hub to rest, repair, and merch — and the difficulty scale for the dungeon will be raised. Every time the difficulty scale is at an even number, players will face a special boss encounter.

With great challenges come great rewards. The patch will introduce ascended items. Ascended armors are “slightly more powerful than exotics” and can, in some cases, hold slots for infusions. Infusions will allow you to increase your character’s power. Guild Wars players are familiar with infusing armor, although I’ll be my hat that the process doesn’t involve creepy Seers this time ’round.

Thus, there will be 9 random paths, all will be accessible from the beginning, it just depends which ones you get randomed.
