Looking for a mentor for raiding – I’m skilled, quick learner, and done many raids first/2nd try.

Looking to learn the finer things of mesming.

I made an 80 warrior 2 weeks ago only to see the playstyle I wanted to do – nerfed pre hard.

Any opinions/advice on what build is best for warriors now?

comforting – how hard is it to get that benchmark?

Turns out I didn’t have viper stats selected on 3/6 trinkets.

What does he bring to the table?

Hey guys – I’m running a condi tempest build and I can’t seem to keep up with other DPS’ers.

I did Keep Construct for the first time and it was just demotivating to see me doing less dmg than a mesmer.

I’ve already invested a bit into getting ascended gear for my condi ele (vipers).

What should I do here?

I’m thinking of either going back to my Condi Ranger (Transfer of amulets), gearing my Mesmer, or dropping Condi all together on my Ele in favor of staff.

Any opinions/advice? Thank you!

Hey guys – I’m interested in creating (if its not made already) a P/P Staff DPS build for Thieves for Fractals.

The general idea is to spam Unload – Get 25 stacks of might -> swap to Staff -> AA -> Swap to P/P once initiative is full -> Unload to 25 stacks again -> repeat.

For some fights that have mechanics @ certain percentages, camping P/P can be hugely beneficial for DPS. Just Unload -> dodge for the damage boost from DD traits -> Unload some more and repeat.

Ankle Shots over Practice Tolerance would be interesting to explore as well – unless anyone has any other info on this I think PT is the better, safer choice here.

I also run Infiltrator’s Signet for fights that don’t need the CC.

Thoughts? Suggestions? I run standard DD staff traits for this build.

Dirt? Its to check their credibility of being a main of that class.

A thief main, trolling us, comes here and tells us a counter-opinion to what we’re all saying. We called him out on it by checking his post history.

If he was a warrior maybe we’d take his word a bit more seriously – but hes not.

And yes we are here to prove a point based on our experiences. If someone comes here to kitten on our opinion – I want to know who and why. Post history explains both of those at times.

I made this warrior a couple days ago and invested 100g into it only to have it get nerfed in PVE so hard ;(

Is axe viable for end game raids/fractals at all?

Just got my full exotic armor set + weapon on my warrior.

How should I go about getting the rest of my gear?

I got 2 rings + 1 amulet already from Fractals/Laurels.

What about the back piece + accessories?

Hey guys, I’m strictly a PVE player.

I’ve thrown my GW2 profession feelers out there and tried Rangers, Gaurdians, Warriors, Thieves and Engineers.

I’ve been really enjoying the mobility and pistol/pistol game play thieves have going for them although I’ve heard some not so great things about them and their viability later on.

The guardian had some nice aesthetics going for it but I went back to my thief because I did enjoy the pistols a lot more.

I’ve never been a fan of mages in mmorpgs – so I’ve never given ele’s a shot here.

It really sucks that rifles aren’t that good – I would’ve loved to play the game using those in raids/dungeons etc.

I do have a level 80 boost remaining that I was thinking of using on a Mesmer – but I’ve heard their playstyle is more mechanically demanding and being new, I dont think thats my best option atm.

I’ve enjoyed the simplicity of a ranged PP thief to learn how the game plays out. However I do think I’ll use that 80 boost to main something else thats more meta-ey.

Warrior GS was very dull for me as well and ended up using a LB instead :P

Do you guys have any suggestions on what weapon + profession I should play given what I’ve enjoyed so far?
