Hoarding limited items seems like the most apparent issue to me.
While common goods do stabilize given enough time these items never do and all it takes is one market manipulator with enough bank.
^^ Exactly
With enough funds you can buy out available inventories on rare items with low supply (which have a correspondingly higher demand). I don’t want to use the word “manipulation” because then John will get on here and ask for proof (rather than providing his own empirical data).
And you think such an activity is likely to be highly profitable?
If you can melee without dying, you should be meleeing.
If you die whilst meleeing then one of three things are true:
1. You’re facing one of the surprisingly small number of bosses for which meleeing is suicide.
2. Your team totally sucks.
3. You’re doing something wrong and need to improve.
3 should be your default outlook. 1 is the least likely.
A good ranger will be the last man standing (only mesmer could probably beat that) and he’ll rez the rest most of the time
Why are you optimising for failure?
I’ve never had a problem with CoE on my Necro. Only occasionally did I have to depend on DS to eat all the damage from that large AoE, but only because I kittened up by wasting a dodge earlier.
And you don’t need to dodge all of them anyway.
err, no. how about just dont play with death magic if it really is bothering you (i doubt it’s a horrible problem that prevents you from killing anyone) and play with the rest of our skills.
Don’t spec into the trait that boosts that can dramatically increase the area of your marks? The one that can give your wells the ability to buff your allies? The one that reduces the cooldown on some of your core support abilities? The one that boosts the defensive attribute a Neco is lacking?
Well I guess you can do that if you want.
