Guild Wars 2

The “Payment Authorization Failed” issue is happening with me as well while trying to purchase Path of Fire standard edition, with no resolution yet. I’ve gotten 4 separate replies from support, and contacted my bank to assure it’s not them.

Has anyone else here gotten a solution to it yet?

Well, I know I will not be playing very much anymore until Anet realizes they need to release elite specializations to everyone, or at least have a way to earn it via in-game currency (gem store purchase similar to the deluxe version upgrade?) or perhaps something else achievement or story related. Elite specializations have ruined PvP and WvW for ANYONE who hasn’t purchased HoT, and it is painfully obvious that no amount of “balancing” in the upcoming months will be able to resolve this issue as the new skill sets are simply much more overpowered than the base game specializations.

UPDATE: I have solved this problem by deleting and uninstalling anything to do with Guild Wars 2 off my computer, then re-installing the game client. Doing so also fixed my issue with my game fps being cut in half after the recent patch.

Were you on this character when the servers crashed?

Sorry for the late reply, but now that you mention it the reason I stopped playing last night was due to my game crashing. I didn’t end up logging back in till earlier today to find my character like that. It also fits the time frame of around when I went to bed if you consider Kosai’s post to be accurate to about 17~ish hours ago that servers apparently crashed.

And yes i did submit a ticket to this issue.
