This has happened to me, too, many times. Sometimes it seems to have something to do with whatever “chat” I used last, whether /m, /s,/g. At other times, that makes no difference.

It’s very frustrating.

I was dismayed this evening to find 2 of the 4 daily choices be fractals. I tried fractals once. I HATED it.

Thanks for the lousy Christmas present. Add me to the list of people who will not complete the daily tasks.

Have you tried exiting out completely (using Ctrl + Alt + Del if necessary) and relogging?

I, too, am getting a black screen while soloing. I’m gathering mats in Sparkfly, and the screen has gone black twice since the update.

I’ve never liked this quest, but now it’s nearly unbearable. None of the mines are interactive, so none can be disarmed.

One has to pick up metal and run each individual piece back to the heart/quest giver, and hope that some separatists might show up. Ugh. Takes forever now.

The Peridot Nugget awarded to Norn at level 25 or so will not stack in the bank, nor is it added when “Deposit All Materials” is selected. This has occurred with 2 different Norn alts since the update.

I haven’t been playing very long — just a few days, but anything that can be sold will have a “value” at the bottom of the description. Items with no coinage were probably bought with karma and have to be banked or destroyed.

A better way of selling gear (though not soulbound or karma) is to right-click and choose “Sell at Trading Post.” You can do this from any location; you don’t have to be near a vendor. You’ll get a bit more this way than if you just unload it at a merchant of some sort. To sell to a merchant

You can also “salvage” items for crafting ingredients if you don’t want to sell it. However, you can’t salvage items bought with karma.
