Why are trash mobs there? To present groups a challenge: skip without dying. A lot of times this requires group coordination, boon sharing, and group support. Everyone has their own role. Killing each mob one at a time is easy, but slow. Skipping takes practice, coordination, and group effort.

Was just in Fractals Story mode and the leader afk the group kicked him and we all got sent out of the dungeon we were on the last boss.

If you did not want us to kick a leader then have the leader position migrate to a logged in player who has not been afk for 16 mins.

After doing some research on Sun Tsu i came across this immage.

Its Art style reminds me of the Warrior concept art.

I Know samurai are the Warriors of Japanese nobility, however the point of this post is the style of the armor and weapons and perhaps a 3rd Heavy armor class.

One that uses 1Hand and 2 Hand swords, And a bow with flame based attacks.

The healing spells could be chants, as well as its utility.

Id like to know what the community thinks about the idea of this as a class, what its utility skills would be, what its elites would be, and the style of its attacks and skills.

What kinds of traits it would have, clearly its not a ninja so no flying and walking over water, its more of a powerhouse fast and strong attacker.

They would be faster than a warrior in speed but not as fast as a Theif.

Why does your guild camp the WvW jump puzzle? i never shot at you and was content to just do it without pvp conflict i was alone and unarmed so i would not miss fire, but then you kill me why?

Its a Holiday Event we got for Free.

Christmas happens in the month of December in Most of the world.

And For free without paying for it we got new stuff to do and new items to find.

The jumping puzzle, the music event, The pvp snowball fight, and the dungeon / toypocalypse, were all great events.

The solution you suggest is not the simplest solution to the problems you indicate.

If you feel it’s difficult to find the guild to which an emblem/banner belongs to, the problem there is that the emblems and banners need to also indicate the name of the guild leader(s) or vice-leader(s) connected to them.

“/Find” is not an appropriate solution. In my opinion, it’s actually kind of creepy.
We already have a contact system which allows anyone you encounter to track you for all eternity. -shivers- That at least lets me know through my “follower” system.

I don’t want a system that lets anyone track me whenever they please without my knowledge. Only my closest bubbly friends are allowed to do that.

How is it creepy? Your a character not a Facebook page.

You see a banner, you see a large active guild with all the banners food tables etc located in some place in the game, you see the name often but don’t ever see the members.

/find guild name, boom you see tons of ppl online , you pm a leader or officer and ask to join boom your in.

Without /find there is a wall between you and that guild and forming a community.
When you need to go looking on the forum for a guild you want to join in hopes they post regularly or google them to find their website, there is a problem in the game.

The Following are issues your Game has mechanically From a design point.
Many Can be fixed, if you take the time to learn from them.

1: Boss and Dungeon fight Resets, You have none, Consider the Worm boss in TA.
When you start it has 3 small worms beside it and at intervals of hp it spawns more, if you wipe after causing say 5 worms to spawn then die and go back, you have 5 plus the boss to deal with not 3.

This is also true in the clifside fractal, Arm seal left side, 2 trash mobs then more come in waves, if you die or wipe then however many were there are still standing when your group returns now you deal with them and the waves no reset to 2.

Seriously arenanet this makes things harder than they need to be.

2: Group and guild Holiday events, You might as well give up trying because no one can run with their friends in this game you designed to let peopel run with friends.

Winter’s day events and haloween except for the dungeon are not group events you cant do with your friends family or guild. why?

3: Cursor in Mail text box, its broken you cant see it press enter 2 or more times and its still in the first line till you type then find out where it really is.

4: /find /who, You cant search for ppl based on level race class zone guild etc.
So say you want to join a guild whos banner you see in public you cant good luck because unless your standing in front of one of them or you see a spam you cant know the name of ppl in a guild.

Say some guy is being a jerk, in normal mmo’s you find his guild leader and let him know, or maybe you want to see if alot of ppl on the game who are jerks are in a jerk guild, or you want to see what level someone is before the group invite.

5: Dying in fractals, Why must i wait for a total wipe?

6: Cliffside Fractal, The hammer hurts the traps keep poping and the jumping puzzle takes longer than ppl can swap hammer at 15 stacks.

7: Traps and Stun spams, if i set a trap in real life it springs one time, why do your traps spam the ground with no safe place no way to disarm and keep spamming you?

Without a feature for /who /find, you cannot track down and join guilds you want to be part of unless there is a message in chat or a person in front of you.

You cant track down the guild leader of a guild thats members are breaking the rules of the game to report them to him.

I want to chime in, and say that I am disappointed too with this. I tried Toypocalipse early this afternoon and loved it. But when I tried to enter with my girlfriend, we where separated (we were already in party). Actually, after some tries, we never ended up in the same group. So we just ended up doing something else. The event can be a blast, but there’s no point in doing it if I can’t enter with my friends.

TL;DR: No point in running Toypocalipse without your friends.

Agreed in fact the same story, my gf and me can’t go in together.

And how is it your going to save all 5 dollyaks without some kind of team orginization it does not even have to involve guild friends of voice chat, but some kind of plan is needed to win.

Please Don’t Get me wrong here but Winter’s Day Was displeasing in some aspects.

First off let me say each event Toypocalypse, Winter Mayhem, Choir bells, And the Jumping puzzle Were all in their own great things to kill time with and have fun.

There is however A glaring problem with how you choose not to let groups play.

I know groups with Voice chat have an advantage persay and why you wont let groups do some actions together like sPvP, They can do tournaments together if they want.

But when It comes to Holiday events I want to play with my friends, i want to help my friends my guild and have fun together not separate doing the same things and talking about it in guild or voice chat.

What is the point in not playing together but doing the same thing?
Its not really fun at all if the point of your game was to let friends play together why does more than half the game split you up?

Everyone has a Voice chat, And those who don’t are not blocked from getting one, they have just as much acces to it as anyone else id challenge you to find in a group of 5-16 one person who does not know what Team speak, Ventrilo, mumble or skype are.

That’s how i see it. You had fun events, but parties and guilds and friends are told STOP Go solo from here on out.

There is no method in game to Find people.

You cant /who /find /where or /Find guild /who guild /who locations.

There is then no way to contact a guild or even know what guild people are in unless your right in front of the person, so when you see a banner or a guild name you like you cant even find people from it.

This is important imo to creating a community. and giving it tools.

I mostly agree with the OP.

This events achievements have mistakenly caused players to not give a crap.

The amount of gifts required to get that unbreakable bell must be ungodly. On a statistical bell curve I should have had 2 by now if they have a 0.01% chance to drop. The RNG is killing this game and at this point I am surprised anyone is still left. This is absolutely ridiculous. If you are wondering about what did drop…. attached is a screen shot of all that I got excluding the sweaters. Those I used to buy more giant gifts. In total I used around 3k (maybe 3.2k due to sweaters) gifts. I more than likely won’t be able to bring myself to play any more of RNG Wars 2. So much for skill being the number one thing required in this game. It seems the longer the game is out the more and more it will slip away from what was stated this game was about.

Yes, call me a qqer and complainer and whatever else you want. The fact stands: they are adding new gear and more than likely will have to for a expansion since they are increasing the level cap. The RNG is here to stay and will be king of RNG Wars 2.

Side Note: It would have made more sense to have the bell as reward for getting 100% on all parts (upper, middle, & lower) of the mini bell choir game (not just the lower part), but I assume that goes against their new philosophy.

Well no actually it was a feature they did not intend to have out yet and is not finished, the ui elements are not there and its not working as it should be.

In Battlegrounds Your armor should be Red or Blue Based on your team.

For some reason today ive noticed Dyes work in SPvP.

Is this a bug? Because my colors are white and blue and im on the red team.

My GF Started her account on the wrong server, and thought she could delete her toon and pick another server without any problem. (shes used to wow).

She did not put her Rhytlock in the bank first and did not know that her banks were account bound. or that she was still on that server until a transfer.

She got a transfer but she would really like to have the pet back, she is finding it hard to play without it because she keeps kicking herself over it.
