Guild Wars 2

Hello! I just came back to GW2 after originally playing it back in 2012. I used to WvW back then, and I wasn’t the best, but I felt like the large maps and large range of players made it so you were less pressured to be great. I feel like if I PVP and have four other people in a team depending on me to be somewhat-decent (which is obv understandable) then I would feel worse for, well, basically sucking. Which I probably would, considering I have never really PVP-ed – mostly for that reason, haha. So how friendly is the GW2 community towards newbie PvPers? Does anyone know of any NA guilds that are friendly towards newbie PvPers and willing to help work with them, or anything like that? I have currently been PVEing for the past few days just to get my feet wet again (it has been a good few years, lol) but I find that lacks the excitement of PVP.

It would also be nice to find a guild/a friendly person who is more in sync with this game, because there is a lot that has changed since 2012, and I am definitely feeling out of the loop. Especially when I try to look up profession information for PVP – all I really find on profession forums now is people complaining about how bad their prof is.

So yeah, long and short of it, tl;dr is pretty much summed up by the title of this thread.
