It seems I should go for Berzerker ^^
Hmm Assissins you say?
Never heard of that on an ele. But Let’s see what other people have to say ^^
Hey there guys,
I’ve played Guild Wars 2 since the beginning and played Guild Wars 1 aswell for several years (6 years o.o). A big thing I noticed is the change of the armor stats.
In the beginning of Guild Wars 2 there used to be a build for Elementalists that was called the Glass Cannon, I think it’s similar to Berzerker stats now.
Because I thought I was way to squishy for Dungeons and other activities in Guild Wars 2 I switched gear to Knights armor with Runes of the Monk to increase boon duration when swapping attunements etc etc.. But I’ve noticed that this is not very good in dungeon groups. I’m also working on Ascended armor right now and I really got two options to go with (according to other people). This is Berzerker armor (zojja’s) or Celesetial armor (WupWup).
The question is, what armor should I make for my Ele? Every suggestion is welcome!
I mainly focus my ele on pve (dungeons, World events etc.)
I will do the -repair in a minute.
I think I fully updated windows. The only update it finds is for File validation that supports Microsoft Office. I don’t think that is anything I should really have to update.
I’m also getting a lot of Direct X errors. Anyone knows a solution for that?
I have the newest drivers and my videocard is barely 2 years old. Could it be my motherboard maybe or is it just software related?

Hey there guys,
I’ve made a couple of these topic already but I have not found the solution for this problem. I have this problem for a couple of months now
My guild wars 2 crashes like every 45 minutes or something.
What I’ve tried:
-Check Direct X
-Changed my RAM
-Clean install of Windows 7 64-bit home edition
-Clean install of GW2
-Update videocard drivers
I added the crashlog as an attachment
Hopefully you guys can help!
Haven’t really played Guild Wars 2 for months now because of this, it really bothers me

BUMP
I found how it crashes using Processmonitor but I have no idea what it means.
I can’t upload the file because it can’t be saved as a .txt and it’s like 31 MB.
Anyone that can help me now?
Posted a screenshot of it though, see attachments
The install stops halfway through for some reason and Guild Wars 2 crashed again
Just got another error!
Will try the reinstall right now!

Yeah, but I don’t know which one I used to use!
I got a new driver already, gonna test that now but It’ll probably crash again
Hey hey,
First of all I’d like to say I’m sorry for posting another thread about this topic but it really gets on my nerves.
For the last month or so I’m getting crashes or Bluescreens when playing Guild Wars 2.
I can play the game for like 5 minutes and then it just crashes.
I’d really like to get back and play again.
I think it all started when I updated my Nvidia driver in the beginning of December.
I have tried several things to fix it but I didn’t find a solution though and that really bothers me.
I’m reinstalling a new driver as we speak in the hope this will fix it.
I hope there is anyone out there that can help me!
An example of the crashes:
Assertion: (buffer->bitMask & alloc->bitMask) == alloc->bitMask
File: ..\..\..\Engine\Gr\Dx9\Dx9Buffer.cpp(1170)
Hope anyone can help me!

Hey there guys,
I posted a topic about this like 2 weeks ago although I did not find a solution.
Recently my Guild Wars 2 has been crashing a lot lately.
I used to have a lot of bluescreens aswell.
My fan on my computer was broken and I got a temporary fan to replace it and will get a new permanent this tuesday or something.
Apparently the bluescreens are caused by the fan so I think I got that fixed but I still have to find a solution for my Guild Wars 2.
I already tried a -repair and a complete new install but still get the error: Memory at address 00000000 could not be read (some 0’s have other numbers sometimes).
I read some other people who had the same problem but didn’t find any solution!
Does anyone have an idea what I should do?
I have used it before but it seems that it doesn’t find any crashes
There’s a pic in the attachments folder
I just had a crash and right after a BSOD.
The strange thing is that I have played GW2 since the beta and never had any of these problems.
When I play other games like Assassins Creed 4, DoTA2 and Bioshock Inifinite I don’t have any problems.
Since the last couple of weeks all this stuff happens somehow
Haha no problem dude, I’m always interested in what other people have to say!
Although I’m running GW2 as Admin now and I didn’t have any errors so far. I’ll keep you guys posted
Thanks for the comment but it seems to be a very very drastic solution.
I will have to re-install all my other games, plus I got a lot of stuff for school on this machine so I don’t want to re-install windows right now
Just crashed again…
I could try a complete reinstall but I’m not sure it will work
It says there was nothing wrong with the integrity or something on my pc.
So it seemed to me that nothing has changed
I could wait and see what happens or do you have any other idea?
Could be true, my windows is being strange lately.
Although it did not fix anything and I tried -repair already..
Any other tips?
Can you open it now?
It’s just a normal .txt.
I’ll repost it.

Did you try adding -repair in the GuildWars2 shortcut target field?
Tried that twice a couple of days ago, didn’t really help so far :S
Yo guys,
Not sure if this is the right one, but this is what I found under appdata —> Roaming --→ Gw2

Hey guys,
I have been playing GW2 since the release and I never really encountered many crashes.
But since like a month or something I’m crashing atleast 2 times a day.
A simple restart once isn’t a big problem but restarting the game twice in 15 mins can get really annoying.
I saved the crash log in a .txt, I’ve added it as an attachment!
Hopefully you guys can help me!

Hey there,
Like Guild Wars 1, I like to play Guild Wars 2 in window mode aswell.
Works pretty sweet and I have no problems with it, unless I press ctrl+shift+enter..
When I press those 3 buttons together then the game doesn’t respond anymore and I’ll have to close the game and restart it.
Now you think: ‘’Why would you press Ctrl+Shift+Enter at the same time…?’’
Well sometimes I get an ‘’=’’ when I want to typ a ‘’?’‘. To solve this I press Crtl and shift at the same time and that fixes it for me and usually I rapidly press enter to finish my sentence and that’s how those 3 buttons cross.
Does anyone else have this problem or does anyone know how to solve it?
Thanks in advance!
