True perhaps, but it takes several mastery points and a heck of a lot of experience to get to that point. Even if people go straight into maxing the gliding mastery (which many might not), they’d be stuck with endurance-limited gliding for a while.

I think that the gliding endurance bar (or whatever it’s called) should be shown whenever it isn’t full, even if you’ve put the glider away. This would allow you to see how much of your gliding endurance has recharged – something you currently have to guess at, because the bar vanishes as soon as you put the glider away.

Once your gliding endurance has fully recharged, the endurance bar can disappear until you start gliding again.

This would be helpful in scenarios where you have landed after expiring your gliding endurance, then try to take off again only to find that just a small amount of endurance has been regained and you’re now doomed.

Just some small feedback of mine after playing the BWE – which I enjoyed a lot regardless.

Been taking on board as much of the feedback as I can. Biggest request was to have the panel on the left. I also spaced out certain elements to make it appear less noisy.

Which order you’re in isn’t information used often enough to warrant it being on the “main” page, in my opinion. There are a lot of things I’d rather have there than order: more space for everything else that’s already on there, current spec (in something akin to 6/6/2/0/0-format), number of guild members or friends online right now – or which guild I’m a part of currently has the most online members, my achievement points, completion of current zone, pvp rank, amount of xp since last death, longest time I’ve managed to hold my breath, the luck-bar that’s under achievements, my favorite pre-made dye combos. Not saying I want those things there, just that it’s valuable space that’s wasted.

Thanks for the ideas I’m hoping that one day Anet may put in more order-related stuff, so this may become more important to know. Right now though, it is a tad irrelevant.

Not gonna lie – was struggling a bit when it came to working out what things to show there. I originally had PvP but I wanted to try and show per-character information only. XP since last death etc is an interesting idea – handy for Lifetime Survivor

More detailed map completion info would be quite good too (WPs, Vistas etc) – did cross my mind, but didn’t really have room. Other problem is: once you’ve got 100%, this kind of becomes irrelevant, so it really would be wasted space. Interesting things to think about though.

What about a fifth tab which only shows Attributes? You then would have much more space for them. Right now it seems a bit overcrowded.

That could be one way of doing it.

When it comes to the tabs though, I was thinking that additional tabs could include possible future features, like equipment sets. They could even put some sort of commander UI as a tab there, for advanced squad capabilities… when/if they do that eventually.

This should definitely be done.

Jagex do something very similar to this with Runescape, where a selection of Polls is frequently updated with current features in development, and players can choose their favourites. They literally have a list of possible features – going into some fair detail – and people choose what Jagex work on. Each feature even has an ETA for if it gets voted in. Other polls can be the activities available for certain events – like whether christmas should have snowball fights or skiing, etc. Anet should definitely try to become more like this.

I might add that I’m not 100% happy with the presentation of the attributes – let me know any ideas you have.

I’ve created another update based off of some of the feedback I’ve been getting, with minor tweaks to the overall layout of it, as well as some additional information.
