To get the rich quartz crystal formation you don’t have to do the event. The door to Cragrock Palace opens with about ten minutes left of a tier 4 sandstorm. Go left, hug the wall and come up behind the node. If you’re careful you won’t agro anything.

I’m enjoying most of the story, but the maps are extremely frustrating for me. I can’t seem to reach hero points and the ones I do, I don’t have the mastery unlocked for it. It makes it very hard to enjoy the game.

I’m having this issue also. Have tried logging in and out repeatedly and gliding by him again.

Edit: It worked on the second server I tried guesting on.

Just adding my 2 cents. I want to play the new content with my elite spec. The map is beyond frustrating to me. New content should make me want to play more, not quit in exasperation.

I wanted to thank you for this guide. As a returning PVE Mesmer it was very helpful to me.

This happened to me at the two hero points I got in Dry Top today.

The vertical gear progression and massive grind that has been added to the game is unacceptable to me. This isn’t the game that was advertised. /uninstalled

I would like to express my disappointment in the direction this game is going. I guess it’s worthless now to continue to work on acquiring my exotics? That’s what it feels like to me. Please reconsider this move.
